Happening this upcoming Saturday.
I was totally unaware Silva was fighting. Really hope he takes this as he's gone 0-4-0-1 since 2012.
You could argue the Bisping and Diaz fights, but still.

the top 5 fights really are pretty solid. id like to see de Randamie get the belt. would give her some good MMA cred to go a long with all her achievements in kickboxing.

ok so who watched the main event? what was the take on the first "after the bell" punch? it seems to me it was thrown right at the bell. the 2nd one def was late but that first one I dunno... just curious what you all thought about it. if that first one was at the bell and the 2nd one was late, the warning given would be fair without taking a point.

Haven't seen the fight yet myself so no comments of my own. I've seen some mixed reactions within the Dutch fandom with the majority just being happy that a Dutch fighter won a UFC belt. Some say Holm is whining, while I've seen at least one guy I know go on a Facebook rant on how he was disgusted by Germaine's late strikes and how if the tables were turned all the Dutch fans would be screaming bloody murder, which is a fair point.

not just regular murder but bloody murder. pretty steep shit. I dunno she got a warning for the 2nd one. the first one imo was at the buzzer. ref thought so too and told her it was at the buzzer. 2nd was after the buzzer so it was an official warning. if another one then happened, technically that's two and that's a point taken.
it was all heat of the moment shit im pretty sure. but that's how I saw it. I think it went down correctly.
