Come to think of it, Aerts never had a proper retirement fight.
Glory marketed Aerts vs Rico as a retirement fight, but Aerts said he didn't really agree with that. Then there was the fight against Hoost in 2014 after which we didn't really hear much from Aerts other than him hinting that he was probably done, but it didn't really feel like a proper finish. I'd like to see Peter end his fighting career (at 46 years of age!!) with a win against a capable, but realistic opponent in Rogava.
I like this way better than Remy making another comeback against an elite level opponent.

Should have retired after the last time he beat Semmy, but I think this life chose him and he won't stop until hes in Valhol.

Good to see Aerts winning his retirement fight, albeit against a late replacement. Also good to see Aygun defeating a solid opponent in Zimmerman. Zimmerman was interviewed by Marloes Coenen before the fight and said he has finally learned he needs to dedicate himself to realize his full potential and that he knows very well that he has shown up fat and out of shape in the past. Funnily he looked out of shape while saying those very words, so I wonder if he was just BSing. Either way he lost once again, making him 1-3 in his last 4 fights with the 1 win being against... Viktor Bogutzki.
Some surprising results further down the card; El Bouni knocking out Kwasi, Douwes defeating Cairo and winning the 95kg tournament (albeit by default), Diender winning the 70kg tournament and Sicking knocking out Duut.
I haven't seen any of the footage yet, but Spike (NL) is airing it this Friday.

Great KO. El Bouni has been developing into an exciting fighter over the past few years, scoring some quality victories and knockouts. He's definitely one to keep an eye on.
