Definitely, looks like Machado is being screwed the same way Hameur-Lain was. I can see him ending up fighting a random fight in between, perhaps losing, and thus losing his supposed contender status.

Glory CEO called it a title fight on video from Glory Paris 5 weeks if they had told the fighters then.

EMBREE OUT, ABDURAHMAN IN FOR GLORY 43 TOURNAMENTwww.glorykickboxing.com/en/news/view/1379Making this event even less interesting on paper and probably upping Chikadze's chances to win the tournament. (OP Updated) Oh man I didn't think of the pairings before. Could be a really useless tournament if let's say Chikadze (again) has a tough first fight and either Abdurahman or Vannostrand get a quick KO win. Glory needs to put a little more money into these tournaments or just get rid of them if they can't get better fighters to take part. The last 70kg tournament was actually with okay names, the quality of the other tournaments been pretty random though.

Only saw the last 3 fights of the SFS and sadly can't say that I liked any of them. Zhuravlev/Cavalari was a huge disappointment and the rest felt like undercard stuff. As in actual undercard filler fights.
I went to sleep pretty much right after SFS, but I'm happy that the people who stayed up for the Main card at least got a lot of interesting upsets. Everyone on the event poster ended up losing.
So they gave Jauncey another fighter he should have beaten and he lost again, badly. Can they stop trying to make him a thing now? It's just not gonna happen, at least not anytime soon.
Slightly surprised Inocente beat Adegbuyi, but apparently it was a close fight. Will Inocente actually get a title shot now or will he land in the 'unused contenders' bin?
Also a bit surprised Chikadze didn't win the tournament and apparently some people disagreed with him even winning the first fight. While the level of most fights on the main was probably a bit meh, these are still interesting developments.

I don't blame it as much on pavel as I do on cavalari who just run and run and refused to fight. In the first two rounds it was embarrassing, the guy did almost nothing then throw kicks half a way the ring and miss almost all of them while getting chased, and when pavel got close and landed a good punch he just clinch desperately

I don't really like Pavel when he's lurking for that one big shot though. He could and should be so much more active in some of his fights. But yeah, Cavalari didn't exactly look hot either.

Pavel does indeed tend sometimes to lurk too much( he lost against machado because of that). But in this fight he didn't have too much of a choice. Cavalari either was running while getting chased and when pavel finally managed to get close he just clinched. He wanted no part of pavel in this fight. Only in round 3 he did something more than just run and clinch. I think though vikaitov vs pavel will be a awsome fight.

Saw the re-run of the main card on Ziggo Sport last night and it was actually 'okay'.
