Yeah, here you can post anything games. Found out about a new upcoming game that you are exited for? Post it here. Found a cool games related video? Post it here. Can't beat a boss and want to share the frustration with someone? That's right, you can post that here too.
Let's get me started with two cool videos that I'd like to share with you.
The "playable teaser" for the new Silent Hill game.
Trailer of "Wild", an upcoming open world game by the Rayman founder.
Another question right away: What do you guys play at the moment?

Nice thread!
'Currently' playing EA's UFC, though I haven't played in a few days. It's decent, but not as good as THQ's UFC Undisputed series or EA's Fight Night series.

I don't have a new console, but EA's UFC was pretty much the only one I would liked to have anyway. Now that most people say that it isn't that good, I couldn't care less. I didn't exactly liked the Undisputed games either, so... Btw. if you have a PS4, I think you can download that "playable teaser" for the new Silent Hill from the PSN store. ^^

I'm not a big fan of Demo's, Free To Play stuff and most stuff that somehow fits into that category. It's usually riddled with ads and stripped from anything good. There are always exceptions of course.
You didn't like the Undisputed games? Not even the third one? Oh man, I think that's my most played game on all PS3, especially when counting all the hours I put in the KVFL and fighter creation. It wasn't perfect by any means, but great and awesome fun nonetheless. I played it after having played EA's UFC though and I must say despite the mechanics being superior it didn't really hold up and the game was kinda hard to look at, which is something I never expected; the difference in graphical quality is HUGE. If we get enough signups to go ahead with a third KVFL season things should become clear.

Nah, I never got hooked. Career was ok, but not that special. I already played that with the first Undisputed game. Online MP is pretty important to me, and once again that's where it failed for me. Laggy THQ Servers (EA's are usually better), people constantly spamming flying knees and shit, the over the top arcade like ground game.. I think cheaters as well...nah, didn't liked it.

Disregarding the childish sounding narrator, this is the first time in years that I've been honestly excited about a DragonBall videogame!

Right? Hopefully the excitement will be justified.

Over the past few years I've been playing through the Broken Sword series. As you might remember I'm a huge fan of point & click adventures and this series early releases kind of went by me in the 90s, so I was off to a late start when I found out about the updated version of the first game that came out in 2011 or so. Currently I'm playing the third part (Sleeping Dragon) and already hate myself for having had to rely on a walkthrough when I got stuck at a certain point in the game.

I actually stumbled accross my old thread of Broken Sword 2.5 on the old Kakutougi site a few weeks before. I can totally feel you with the walktrough stuff. Haha. I'm always like that in P & C Adventures. I will come to a point where I don't know what to do, try everything out, get in rage, be like "oh man, there must be a bug here, it's impossible to get any further". Then I look on the walktrough, realise that I missed something, usually even something that's pretty obvious, hate myself and often even quit the game. Because in my mind, if I got any kind of help from somewhere, I would have not beat the game on my own. I hate that shit since years, and I probably would still look into a walkthrough, because I just have to know what "the hell I can even do here anymore"! > This said, I don't even remember much of the first Broken Sword anymore, just that I played it and, of course, got stuck somewhere, looked it up and stopped playing. LOL I might check out Gog.com, if they have any of the games and if I can play them in German. By the way, have you already played The Whispered World? I absolutely can recommend this one. Needless to say, the same thing happened there to me too, and I never have finished it.

I still finish the games, but yeah it definitely feels like less of an accomplishment even if I use help just once throughout the whole game. I always hate myself for missing -in hindsight- obvious clues.
Can't say that I've heard of The Whispered World, but will definitely check it out.

Can't say that I've heard of The Whispered World, but will definitely check it out. It's one of the rare German games, coming from the same team that also made Deponia or Edna Bricht Aus. It's about an melancholic clown in a traveling circus, who hates to be a clown. There is nothing bad about this game that I can say. The hand-drawn graphics are amazing, the puzzles are challengig yet fair, and the humour is very nice for my taste.

I like how some European developers try to keep the genre alive. Spain's Pendulo did great with the Runaway series and some follow up games, but they haven't released anything in 2-3 years unfortunately.

Nintendo just announced that they're making a remake of Zelda: Majora's Mask for the 3DS.
Interesting...
