Am not liking the fact that Harut isn't serving a 90 day medical suspension of some kind, official or otherwise, after suffering that nasty KO loss in June. I really expected better of GSI, or am I being a bit too sensitive? Fighters coming back too soon after a knockout are definitely at risk. Never mind coming back so soon to fight two fights back to back in a one-night tournament. Grigorian is a moderate favorite in the semi-final bout with the bookmakers, so I think Benmansour has value as an underdog and could get the upset in this case. Thrown in the fact that Benmansour is a proper handful at the best of the times and it's not a nice mixture for Harut. Even if he does make it to the final, I think he's going to know he's been in a scrap. Welcome aboard the craft, JimGunn.

Welcome JimGunn!
Not that I like Harut getting matched up again so quickly, but I'm still going off a limb and predicting that he wins this tournament. Any predictions on Groenhart vs. Doumbe II?

In the other tournament semi-final I expect Antoine Pinto to get his first stoppage in Glory against the over-matched American Zach Bunnell which would mean he'd be facing Benmansour in the tournament final if Harut came back too soon from that KO like I suspect. Richard Abraham and Daniel Morales probably fight to a competitive decision in their King of Chicago bout. I'd like to see Murthel Groenhart bring the chaos and get the upset win and beat Cedric Doumbe, not because I don't like Cedric, but because I like Murthel's style and the streak he is on, plus the odds are generous.
On the Superfight Series I've been a fan of Tiffany Van Soest since she fought muay thai in Lion Fight, so I hope she can get her first stoppage finally in Glory over the late replacement challenger Meryem Uslu. Five rounds is a long time to fight on five or six days notice. I think Dustin Jacoby stops his woefully undersized opponent Sean Choice. Canadian Robert Thomas is likely to pick apart American brawler Warren Thompson, while Cătălin Moroşanu is likely to have his hands full at this low weight he weighed in at with the bigger Pole he faces. Those are the bouts that I have a pretty strong opinion on.

Welcome Jim! I think Doumbe gets the decision, but if he tries to bang it out at any time Murthel could put him away.

BTW I've seen Meryem Uslu fight on the local circuit. I think it was at an A1 event in 2015 and she was pretty solid. She'll probably be in way over her head here though, especially being a late replacement.

Anyone watching this live? I would have since it's convenient for my time zone, but I started watching Bellator 182 prelims live so I am going to finish all the way through the main card and then catch up with Glory later tonight and tomorrow morning. Sucks when two fun fight cards are on at the exact same time!

Just got up, didn't look up the results. Is there a way to watch a replay of the show? Thanks.

Just got up, didn't look up the results. Is there a way to watch a replay of the show? Thanks. Well, that depends. In the U.S. the SuperFight Series card is available on replay anytime on UFC's online streaming service Fight Pass for subscribers. I'm a big MMA fan as well so I have it. And the main Glory card was streamed and is available for replay on WatchESPN.com but only for cable or satellite tv subscribers with a log-in. It's also being replayed on ESPN2 on tv on Tuesday evening I believe. If you're not a Fight Pass subscriber or if you're a cord cutter or live in another country, the circumstances are different. I'm finishing watching both cards right now, but I guess I'll hold off commenting on results until tomorrow.

The morosanu fight is the biggest roberry I have ever seen in any combat sports. I'm speechless right now, the fight wasn't even close. The worst thing you can do in glory is to bet on fights... you can easily lose because of the judges. If you thought that the Daniel Sam fight was a robbery than this is far worse. Also the guy who fought morosanu should be cut from the roster. Can't throw a punch or a kick properly and his defense is made up by putting his hands out. I have never seen someone so least skilled since bob sapp. I still cannot believe this guy went to a decision with morosanu and pavel.

So far I've only seen the SFS portion of the event and couldn't find a way to quickly watch the main card so I went into spoiler territory and looked up the full results. Pretty surprised by Murthel defeating Doumbé. The rest not so much. What I've seen so far wasn't terrible by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm glad I didn't stay up to watch last night. I'm assuming they're talking about Michal Turynski? Not a good matchup at all. He has a very boring style and is solid enough to outscore Morosanu. I usually like being right, but it's typical for me only to be right when I make predictions that suck. I get the sneaking suspicion you lost money on this. Turynski has an ugly style to watch, but if this was the worst robbery you've seen in combat sports you really haven't seen a lot of fights or true robberies. I don't think this was a robbery at all, let alone the worst in combat sports. I didn't really agree with the decision and thought Morosanu edged it when it comes to significant strikes (he landed a few bombs), but ugly as it was it was pretty close as well.
