Due to the somewhat unconventional naming when it comes to the K-1 Japan weightclasses things may have gotten a little convoluted for some of us (namely myself), so I tried to make more sense of it by making a chronological list of all the K-1 weightclasses and their respective champions. Keep in mind that some of the weights are assumptions on my behalf, but I think it's in the right ballpark, mostly: 95kg - Heavyweight ChampionAntonio Plazibat 70kg - Super Welterweight ChampionChingiz Allazov 67.5kg - Welterweight ChampionKubo Yuta 65kg - Super Lightweight ChampionNoiri Masaaki 62.5kg - Lightweight ChampionWei Rui 60kg - Super Featherweight ChampionTaiga 57.5kg - Featherweight ChampionTakeru 55kg - Super Bantamweight ChampionTakei Yoshiki So, by the end of the year K-1 will have 8 (!) Champions crowned with there still being room for a few more: Middleweight/Super Middleweight, Light Heavyweight/Super Heavyweight. Which additional weightclasses would you like to see represented and what do you actually expect to see? BTW I'm not including K-1 Global in the conversation as nothing they do has any validity nor does it add anything useful to the narrative.
