I don't know anything about the buisness side, but as far as I'm concerned Glory has done a lot of things right.
- Spike Deal
- good ring announcer with Tim Hughes
- good commentary team, especially with Mauro and Duke in combination
- lots of tournaments and decent matchmaking
I dislike however theyr inconsistency when it comes to the looks of theyr events. Like that one event in Italy, which looked so cheap compared to the following one in Japan. They also could try to be a little more "classy". Like, less emphasis on the "Glory Girls" for example. Also, it can't be so difficult to hire some componist to create some kind of Glory Theme to play in between rounds. It's pretty silly to have all these random music tracks playing during the round breaks. Like between Round 1 and 2 there is some Hip Hop tune playing and during Round 2 and 3 there is some Electro.. meh. I always liked the K-1 Themes playing between rounds.
By the way, what happened to It's Showtime? I either missed that or already forgot lol. Is Rutz not in the fighting buisness anymore at all? Any link to a story of that would be appreciated, too.

Glory bought It's Showtime in 2012 (I was live in Brussels at the event when they announced it) and Rutz was bought out for a few millions. Glory taking over all of It's Showtime's assets like their full roster was more or less a finishing blow for K-1 at the time.

Ahh, yes.. I think I remember. Wasn't Ghita standing in the ring, too, at this announcement (because he just fought)?
So, what are your thought on Glory, Mr. Power?
