I'm frankly surprised that Glory is trying what I presume will be another iPPV through Fight Pass. Badr was a special case with a huge following while Rico vs Jamal is just another heavyweight title fight. Of course, I will still find a way to watch the entirety of the card since I am a super fan, but I hate that they are throwing up an obstacle like this.

Not that much more expensive for them to do, 4 additional fights on an event they're already holding anyway. They'll get another "episode" to air on tv later on. But yeah this isn't as special as Badr one was.

What sticks out to me:
Vigney who's seemingly fought once in the last ~16 months prior to this event. Put in a Brestovac or something. Thumbs up for Pet vs. ZZ Marat Grigorian presumably in Kunlun over fighting Baya. Petje is an odd replacement. Pretty meh LW tournament.
Glory's 70kg division is in such a weird state overall. Best guys fighting in China and meanwhile nobody really world level being brought in as replacements. Basically 0 talk of Sitthichai or interim titles or anything.

Looks like there's like 1k seats still available if the ticket service is up to date but whatever the situation exactly the attendance should be very good. Rotterdam > Amsterdam

See, I don't mind Vigney getting this fight since it was overdue anyway. If anyone gets replaced it should be Silva as he's lost 3 out of his last 4 fights, or 7 out of his last 10 if we go back a bit further. Vigney won his last 5 or 6 (?) including wins over Daniel Sam and Freddy Kemayo where nobody gave him a chance. He was supposed to fight in the Glory 41 tournament, but got injured and replaced by Mohamed Abdallah so I don't mind him getting this chance. I will say this though, while I like the cards I feel the fun fights - for me - are spread a bit too thin. Instead of making 2 really good cards they made 3 okay ones. I get that it's all part of the same event overall, but still: more often than not, less is more.

The biggest issue I have is that if you aren't already a kickboxing die-hard, there's very little reason to purchase the PPV.
That card isn't like... spectacular or anything, doesn't feature big enough names to push people into buying it and just, yeah.

I don't mind Vigney really...just an odd choice using him after 16 months, in Europe instead of some US card and on the PPV portion. Maybe he's training at Hemmers or something? Doubt it'll be a huge PPV success but it really can't be that much more expensive for them to add the 4 more fights on the event either. Only one on Redemption really getting paid is Verhoeven that I can see. It'll be packaged as an individual broadcast that'll be on tv later on. Maybe again live on tv in some countries same as Collision was too. If they can make it feel a bit more special as a year ender show, sell 5-10k more tix than they've done on the last couple Amsterdam shows then seems fine enough.

Secondly, why is the e backwards in the poster? I need answers

That'd make a LOT more sense if this was a trilogy fight.

I haven't even given it any thought. Perhaps because the event consists of 3 cards. Still wouldn't make much sense since that specific subset of fights is called Redemption, but whatever.

Don't know what it might mean in Dutch but it has the word dam in it and if there's one thing I know of dutchies it is that they loves dams so sounds good to me. #tulips #woodenshoes #windmills
