I love Nabiyev but not the kind of guy I'd bet on for now. Occasionally has some meh performances, did great now.
Hope they make Nabiyev vs. Doumbe at some point for the ultimate taunting fight.

Baya looked good but I'll chalk it up more to Petje not looking so good. I've liked Baya for ages though so very much looking forward to his next fight.

Pereira winning was great. I seem to have some weird like for most of the Glory Brazilians. Always like Silva for the greatness he showed some years ago for like 3 fights. Not seen it since but he won me over then. Inocente with his spinning shit r00ls too, always trying to counter the dissing(!) he gets on twitter from others. 70kg Yurk gets no love from me though, not that he exactly got any at 65kg either

Verhoeven-Saddik was a home run for Glory.
I've always thought Rico is just okay on the mic, just okay. Been a little odd to me how after he started winning suddenly we're seemingly supposed to be like oh he's some charismatic star when you put him on camera, nope. Thought he was a bit better now in the big moment, crowd went with it too so I had no problem with it. Stealing from someone on twitter but I'd point to this now as a star making moment for Rico.

guto seems like a nice guy. I don't really like his fighting style, but he is legit. He dominated benny in the first round and put a beat down on him in the second round.

I mean, I have nothing against Guto personally of course, but its hard not to hate what he stands for. He's a sloppy fighter that's consistently pushed because he got some spinning shit landing once and Glory keeps hoping it happens again. To see a guy like that being built up just sorta puts in perspective just how little the HW division has going for it at the moment. Its depressing.

Catching only bits and pieces of the event since I missed it live, but seems like it was a win for Glory and a good way to end a year where they've been largely successful in rebuilding their credibility.
