So finally Fire Pro World drops on the 10th in the west, 11th in Japan.
10am Japan time. 9pm Eastern.
It's Early Access on Steam for now, but shit, I'm happy.
They took out the K-1 rules match style, which really sucks, but damn.

I have no problem dropping 20 bucks on this, but part of me still wants to wait and see if someone's going to cram in the K-1 rules either via mod or whatever.
Also I just got Injustice 2, Tekken 7 and Street Fighter V within a 5 weeks span so I don't exactly have the most time to spend on a game that straight up murders time like Fire Pro.

I think it'll be a tough sell to mod in S-1 rules.

How does the game look? I mean I've seen high res gameplay vids, but it's never exactly the same.

It looks good. I mean, most of us have been using an emulator and upscaling/smoothing for years now. That being said, it looks a lot better.
Camera angles and sprites remind me more of FPD than FPZ or FPR, which is good.

BTW, S-1 Rules has been back for a while and they're working on putting in judges' decisions as well.

I bought it too now on your guys advice  (still downloading). Cause of the lack of good fighting games I did buy wwe2k16 some time ago in a sale but gameplay was meh (and of course it is only wrestling), though it had at least a lot of characters and stuff. Looking forward to this one. |

Based on your comment I went to Steam to see if there was any deal for Fire Pro and found out there is!
Instead of 20 it goes for 14 bucks for 40 more hours so I went ahead and put it in my shopping cart.
I was just about to check out, come back here and give you a shout out for reminding me of the game when I saw this:
That's horrible! I don't really follow wrestling so I had no idea, but of course I know who Takayama is.
Did you guys know about it?
