Man, I completely forgot about this. Doesn't help that Rizin gets ZERO coverage outside of their NYE events, which sadly proves the point I made earlier about it.

This event started like half an hour after Jones vs DC. I meant to watch it but the credit card on my paypal account expired, none of my friends had an account and we were all too drunk to make an account or set up a credit card. So instead of Rizin we got more drunk and played Golden Axe.

Tonne of early finishes, Nozawa-Auclair looked impressive in what was admittedly a showcase bout.
Khalid Taha's Gn'P hammering of Ishibashi was gruesome.
Otsuka just about edged out Birchak I thought.
Miyu won which was a great achievement but made for a dull spectacle.
Kitaoka got smashed like the car on the SFII bonus stage and was a nasty watch.
Another fine win for the prodigy that is Tenshin.
KING REINA is tough as sh*t but I'm not sure how much longer she should fight larger women on the regular.
Garcia NC was due to a near immediate eye poke which looked unpleasant.
Aliakbari ticked over with a PRIDE style gimme.
Horiguchi did as was sadly expected.
Hideo Tokoro has more than done his time for the sport and provided us with enough memories than several fighters combined and I hope this is something that RIZIN finally recognize as his days wind down rather than keep throwing him to young lions, especially as punch resistance is something he wasn't known for even in his prime years.

^ felt bad for Tokoro when I saw he was signed on to fight Horiguchi. I know hes pushing 100 years old in combat sports years. should just call it a career.

So instead of Rizin we got more drunk and played Golden Axe. Which, essentially, is a more interactive version of watching Rizin. |

Gabi got disqualified from SB by channeling the spirit of Badr Hari and going for stomps and soccerball kicks. In RIZIN she went full Jon Jones and started eye-hunting. I predict that she is going to bite King REINA's ear off in her next fight. |
