I'll go back and check the WW one. I'm old and I keep track of everything in text files still, then transfer them over.
I feel like I missed something in FW. I really do, but apparently I missed Kryklia losing in HW in July to fucking Tomas Hron.
Well, if ever anyone wanted to get ranked at heavyweight, all you have to do is beat Hron now, which undoubtedly will happen.

It was in Prague, so not sure how legit the decision was.

Oh I'm 90% certain he doesn't belong there and it was bullshit, but rules are rules, sadly.

BTW, these are gonna be updated.
Jay's brother's fight dates changing and Jay travelling for his other fighters has made it difficult to nail down a time to iron these out.

Gotta say, its a pretty cynical power play for Glory reps to be not just calling liverkick out on rankings, but tagging fighter handles and asking them to justify why liverkick doesn't think they deserve this rank or that rank. I really don't get it. How can they think this is good optics in anyway? I'm sure the addressable audience that cares about these rankings overlaps pretty heavily with guys who will see something like this and get the sense that Glory is insecure. EDIT: Also Glory is the fucking last people to be talking about rankings in the FW division. If you want to talk about 'who would be who' basis, I take umbrage at the fact that your #4 guy has beat the champion and your #2 has better FW wins than the champ or #1

I'm so over this shit.
He's either intentionally obtuse or legitimately doesn't understand how they work. There's a detailed set of rules ON the rankings.
I understand that Todd barely knows the sport, but c'mon. And JJ, I love you but don't pile on with this guy.

No idea when, but I see they've changed from displaying the Glory records on the rankings page at least. No more 0-2 or 0-3 "top 10 in the world" guys

Glory's just got to keep the pressure on competitors so the illustrious twitter followers metric still has a place in rankings methodology

Glory's just got to keep the pressure on competitors so the illustrious twitter followers metric still has a place in rankings methodology Kubo Masaya with his 600 twitter followers managed to win the fan vote for 'fight of the year' by tweeting politely to 'go game the polls' (though for all I know Chenglong Zhang might have a massive weibo following in China or something). I'm not sure the fighters are taking that metric as seriously as they should.

Sorry guys, I've dropped the ball yesterday by working.
I'll make a thread for the new rankings shortly.

I think they dropped the social media metric because if so they'd have to rank those muay thai brothers who's named oddly elude me right now at the top.
