It's unlike a regular Glory card now but still okay enough. If they really aren't adding a 5th fight to the main card we could get to see all of their abilities in play on how to fill all the tv time though Robin van Roosmalen (c) vs. Kevin VanNostrand (ic) Simon Marcus vs. Zack Wells 1 less fight and I'm presuming Marcus and RvR will finish their opponents. At least they have 2 weeks to figure out maybe something more than playing same promos on repeat for 15mins and have Todd and Joe on camera for another 15min.

This was actually a fairly good tournament for a GLORY USA show.
There's no real explanation as to why they scrapped the tournament when they found another middleweight, anyway.

I dunno, maybe none of the potential replacements were up for a tournament? i Lord Gaul had an awkward pause in his last podcast where he mentioned he had to jump on the phone to faciliate some last minute shuffles. Guess what we know what that was about

Warman mentioned in his latest podcast that they were gonna try some new stuff for Glory 52 and apparently this is what he meant.
While I was actually okay with this particular tournament field, if this change implies they may finally drop the tournaments I say good riddance.
I detest how Glory has made me feel about 4 man tournaments and the idea of being freed of lackluster tournaments making up 60% of the main card makes me hopeful for future cards.
As far as the match shuffling I'm kind of indifferent toward it; I like Meksen/Nichols being moved down to the SFS, but I don't like Lemaire/Camozzi being moved up to the main.
I also still expect a lot of these fights to end up being one sided blowouts, but hope I'm wrong.

Damn I like that Thomas kid. Reminds me of a guy I went to school with. Hope the concussion isn't too bad.

It's a little surprising that the MW tournament was cancelled instead of the one fighter being replaced, but this re-shuffling doesn't change much for me. I've never much cared about bout order on any fight card, other than maybe the obvious main event staying at the top, because I'm watching every fight from beginning to end anyway.

I am pretty psyched about this card which is surprising since it seems some were disappointed at the tournament getting cancelled. Maybe cause I feel super deprived of KB now that Kfesta is over, but I'm looking forward to seeing Zhuravlev and RvR blowing through some guys.

I could have done without Lemaire/Camozzi and Zack Wells being used as a sacrificial lamb against Marcus, but for the most part it was good stuff and and a lot of the fights were a lot more competitive than I expected. If they can make the next main card contain 5 fights instead of 4 and still keep the tournaments away, the have my vote!
