By way of Shadess' FB update:
- Interim LHW champ Pavel Zhuravlev vs. Myron Dennis (non-title bout main event) - Stoyan Koprivlenski steps in for injured (neck) Marat Grigorian to face Josh Jauncey - Bailey Sugden vs. Zakaria Zouggary
To be honest these all feel like blowout fights: Why is Myron Dennis - who is 0-2 in Glory with both losses being to Brian Collette - matched up with Zhuravlev?? I like both Myron and Demoreo Dennis, but they really haven't done too well in Glory so far and putting them in unwinnable fights like this isn't helping anybody.
I didn't know Jauncey was intended to fight Grigorian (which probably would have been a slaughter), but I don't like his chances against Koprivlenski much more. Not in the slump he currently is in.
And I kind of have a gut feel Zouggary is going to make quick work of Sugden as well.

Also Anissa Meksen is fighting Ashley Nichols, because apparently we don't have enough one-sided matchups on the card.
I would love to end up being wrong about all of them, so let's see what happens..

can we get an unranked fighter vs a bear on this card?

Think was supposed to be Grigorian-Koprivlenski and Jauncey stepping in for Grigorian.
Zhuravlev vs. Myron Dennis is...a fight. Maybe Zhuravlev wants to fight and Glory wants as little chance possible of him losing as to not spoil Vakhitov-Zhuravlev?

Yeah, it was Marat/Kopri for a shot at Sitthichai.
Jauncey vs. Kopri is... fine?
Also, I think that Bailey vs. Zouggary is a way better fight than you do, K1P. WEIRD.

Ashley Nichols is actually one of the best girl fighters in the world, but ya she will be a big underdog.

Also, I think that Bailey vs. Zouggary is a way better fight than you do, K1P. WEIRD. That is WEIRD. Seriously though, Bailey has looked fine so far but not to the point where I would have said "He's ready for the best guys now". Unless Zouggary is still affected by getting slept by Petch, I see this ending up in a beatdown.

There's a few unlikely matchups on this card, but it looks like it will be entertaining for me. It also won't be up against a UFC card on that Saturday night here in North America by chance so I am happy for that.
I'm really curious to see how the main event will go with RvR against Kevin VanNostrand for the unified featherweight belt. For me, that awesome step-up knee body blow to Anvar Boynazarov was the body shot knockout of the year in any combat sport in 2017. Especially considering the awesome footage they got of Anvar kneeling on the ground grimacing in agony after he spit out his mouthpiece while Kevin starts to celebrate in the background as the referee reaches six on the count knowing that there was no way Anvar was going to get up in time to beat the count. I always like watching fighters who are karatekas and those who have atypical skill sets and I think it could be a weird clash of styles for RvR. I have to figure that the oddsmakers and most fans will give VanNostrand little chance to win, but I don't think I will write him off that quickly, despite his own porous defense.
I'm not exactly sure why Anissa Meksen is fighting in a non-title catchweight bout at the slightly smaller weight of 53 kg, but I've seen Ashley Nichols compete once or twice, so hopefully she can rise to the occasion. For some reason, Wikipedia still says that Anissa is fighting Isis Verbeek, also at a catchweight, so perhaps Ashley is stepping in on short notice from a lower weight class?
The middleweight tournament has some good fighters in it including two former middleweight champions, a former title challenger and a middleweight tournament winner so it could easily help determine the next contender for champion Alex Perreira's belt.
On the SuperFight Series, I'm not sure why they are feeding Myron Dennis to interim LHW champion Pavel Zhuravlev when he doesn't even have a win in the promotion, except to think that this is a stay busy fight for Zhuravlev until he fights Vakhitov. Saying Denis has a punchers chance would be charitable.
Mike Lemaire vs Chris Camozzi could be an entertaining scrap with the winner perhaps getting a step up in competition later against one of the fighters eliminated from the middleweight tournament.
Josh Jauncey vs Stoyan Koprivlenski is another fight that could be entertaining at lightweight. Jauncey has been very inconsistent in Glory, so let's see how he performs against someone who only has three fights in the promotion and just won a contender tournament.
I also think that Zakaria Zouggary vs Bailey Sugden will be fairly competitive bout at featherweight with Zougary wanting to come back from from getting KOed in his last bout and Sugden wanting to keep his momentum going in Glory coming off of two victories.

Quite there with you on those. Other than I fully expect RvR to be levels ahead of KVN and the fight be reminiscent of the Embree and even Varga fights. Would probably make for more appropriate fights if instead double Z fought RvR and BBB and KVN fought each other ugh...all their names so abbreviatable I'm sickened featherweight fisticuffs with RvR, KVN, ZZ and BBB -coming to you in a Glory promo anytime now

Gotta give Glory their due about one thing: 5 round title fights. Can't watch this one live, but I love Robin van Roosmalen, so looking forward to seeing it

Koprivlenski vs. Jauncey in about middle of the whole thing now maybe the best overall fight as far as can be expected anyway.

Really? Perhaps its cause G51 set my expectations for the main card so low, but I'm fine with this one. At least there are names I recognize in between Zhuralev and RvR
