Umm... yes.
Complain as I might about thin Glory cards, at least it hasn't reahed the levels of water down that the UFC has.

Umm... yes. Complain as I might about thin Glory cards, at least it hasn't reahed the levels of water down that the UFC has. this card is bullshit. they need to cut like half the roster get rid of all these bullshit cards happening all the time. focus on the numbered shows and make them good again. satisfy your tv contracts with fight nights. but fuck these fight pass cards. its not even worth paying for fight pass to watch them. like im not enticed to go buy fight pass for this bullshit. ever.

As much as I have lost interest in them and like to complain about the UFC having waaaay too much (watered down) events going on - seriously at this point there is one almost every week - I feel their roster of 500+ fighters gives them the need to hold all these events just to make sure their fighters are active. Of course in a perfect world UFC would have less than half the size of their roster and do just one stacked event a month, but it is what it is. Glory has like what, maybe 100 fighters under longterm contracts and they still have trouble consistently delivering solid cards once a month, because they've painted themselves into a corner by making one stupid decision after another. The irony about all of this is that Glory seems to be using the UFC (at least to some degree)as a stencil on how to do it.

That's why I loved k-1 back in the day almost as much as I loved Dragon Ball LOL. TWO strong divisions 70 kg and HW but all fun fights. Anyway kickboxing HW and 70 kg divisions are garbage now compared to how they were in the k-1 days. I guess people going to MMA and the kids rather stay on the internet ruined the talent pools in 70g and hw divisions.
Just compare

Heard this event was actually pretty fun with a bunch of comebacks and whatnot.
Still don't regret not watching it though!

When cards that I skip end up being better than expected I usually check out some quick highlights.
