BTW Veronica will air the main card live and they posted the scuffle between Wilnis and Marcus on their website so at least they're putting some effort into promoting this. Think I'll follow them on Facebook to get a better idea of their dedication, at least on social media.

Veronica seemed to have some lady at the last event and they were sending someone to this one too so yeah seemingly little more effort.

VIDEOSGlory 56 PrelimsGlory 56 SFS & Main Cardwww.yy.com/x/15012_941935570_60626512_1533952790529Fair warning: The Chinese stream has a lot of extremely long loading times making it pretty much unwatchable, but it'll have to make do as a placeholder for the time being. The mma tracker at least has the SFS available in good quality. Also found the main event:

Chinese sites are so hit and miss. Usually nothing is hosted outside of China unlike youtubes and whatnot that have content somewhere pretty near you. Entirely depends on your ISP. YY always works great for me though.

Yeah I figured it was a combination of hosting/network issues.
Their live streams have been pretty decent for me so far, though.

Just now watched most of the fights outside of Menezes/Meksen and Adamchuk/Boynazarov. Unfortunately some results were spoiled to me while looking up the fights, but shit happens.
On to my thoughts: Decent card that had some bad reffing and had the main event(s..?) ruined by bad judging, really leaving the event as a whole with a bad aftertaste.
Specific notes: - Weren't the Camozzi and Dennis fights supposed to be part of a tournament? - Camozzi/King was sloppy, but had some entertainment value. - Good to see Myron Dennis finally pick up a win. Now it's time for his brother Demoreo I guess. - Massaro was on fire, but Taranaki was tough for surviving the onslaught. - Marshall/Dvorak was unnecessary. - Marcus/Wilnis was good, but unfortunately it wasn't as entertaining for the whole duration of the fight. - Ref Tom Johnson said some stupid shit while reffing, but my main gripe was that he was very trigger happy to call knock downs that I felt were invalid. - Ref Oscar Martinez to Ilunga 'Pick up those kicks!" Whatever that means. - Ilunga/Vakhitov was a great and competitive fight, but Ilunga won damn it! How often does Glory have to fuck over Ilunga? I've lost count at this point.
Questions: - How was Adamchuk/Boynazarov? - Was the Menezes/Meksen decision as bad as commentary made it seem?
Oh yeah, Veronica did NOT actually air the event live. I suspect it's due to Disney XD being in charge of the channel during the hours the event was on. I've seen it scheduled for tonight though.

BTW once again Denver's high altitude really seemed to affect the fights.

Someone got injured I think so BOOM went the tournament. I don't really want to see a lot of that kind of fights but the audience liked it so don't really have a big problem with it either. - Ref Tom Johnson said some stupid shit while reffing, but my main gripe was that he was very trigger happy to call knock downs that I felt were invalid. Fuuuuuu Not seen that yet. Was happy seeing him telling the fighters to fight out of the clinch instead of going in and breaking the action all the fucking time like most other refs outside Kunlun do. - Marcus/Wilnis was good, but unfortunately it wasn't as entertaining for the whole duration of the fight. Not the best fight ever but still quite enjoyed it.

Hopefully he is done fighting stupid fights. Think most his ~recent losses would have been avoidable if he just had a tiny bit more patience. Boynazarov did a bit better than I expected. Meksen got robbed yeah. Would've given the decision to Ilunga as well, not as bad as Meksen Decision. - Ref Tom Johnson said some stupid shit while reffing, but my main gripe was that he was very trigger happy to call knock downs Maybe I missed something but thought he did pretty well. Most of all liked he seemed to be trying to enforce something like Kunlun rules I really do hate the STOP/ref steps in to separate/FIGHT and that on repeat for 9 minutes.

I agree that telling the fighters to unclinch rather than jumping in every 5 seconds is the preferred method that more refs should try. It won't work in every fight, but trying doesn't hurt.
There were two instances where I didn't agree with a knockdown Johnson called, the first one being during one of the undercard fights where someone fell down after a kick to the calf muscle early on in the fight and it resulted in a count. Commentary team thought it was legit, I didn't. Can't remember the other instance, but I believe it was also more of a balance thing.
