USADA nabbed him after the weigh in, when he presumably thought he was free from testing and whaddya know? An old performance enhancer from the Eastern Bloc days shows up.
If this is how it appears to be on the surface, then this is pure slime. Jones is seemingly petrified at the thought of fighting Daniel Cormier as a clean athlete. What a feather in the cap of DC, but he had to take an unnecessary and seemingly unjust beating to "earn" it.

Am not liking the fact that Harut isn't serving a 90 day medical suspension of some kind, official or otherwise, after suffering that nasty KO loss in June. I really expected better of GSI, or am I being a bit too sensitive?

Tonne of early finishes, Nozawa-Auclair looked impressive in what was admittedly a showcase bout.
Khalid Taha's Gn'P hammering of Ishibashi was gruesome.
Otsuka just about edged out Birchak I thought.
Miyu won which was a great achievement but made for a dull spectacle.
Kitaoka got smashed like the car on the SFII bonus stage and was a nasty watch. Another fine win for the prodigy that is Tenshin. KING REINA is tough as sh*t but I'm not sure how much longer she should fight larger women on the regular.
Garcia NC was due to a near immediate eye poke which looked unpleasant.
Aliakbari ticked over with a PRIDE style gimme.
Horiguchi did as was sadly expected.
Hideo Tokoro has more than done his time for the sport and provided us with enough memories than several fighters combined and I hope this is something that RIZIN finally recognize as his days wind down rather than keep throwing him to young lions, especially as punch resistance is something he wasn't known for even in his prime years.

According to the numbers thrown up on the UFC/USADA website, Jon Jones has been subject to as many random tests by the agency during this calendar month (3) than he has had from January-June combined.
DC, by contrast, has yet to be tested by USADA for this, the current third quarter of 2017 and the month of the Jones rematch.
However, this has now evened up their apparent "random" testing for the year to date, at six tests each. Cormier was tested twice from Jan-March and was chased down to piss a mighty four times from April thru June. Jones amazingly, considering his recent past, was only tested once in the first quarter of the year and twice from April-June. So I'm guessing he must have been annoyed (or...pissed?) when USADA turned up on his doorstep those three times this month.
If anyone is interested, the total numbers to date since USADA's random 24/7 testing began in the UFC is: Cormier has been subjected to 21 random tests in 24 months and Jones has had 15 within the same time frame.

At first glance, you think "Hmm. That's interesting." Then you spot the word "Japan", which seems to be their rider, if you will. Then you remember what Heavyweight actually means in today's Japanese extension of K-1.
So this could be fuc*in' anything.

Glunder appears to have that same 'Have Mouthpiece, Will Travel' type attitude that Melvin Manhoef had about a decade or so ago. A Glunder-Baya final could well be a fair old dandy, but Moiseev will obviously have something to say about that.
Groenhart-Harut may be a good watch too but I think Grigorian is a relatively small WW and that may play a factor in the end.
Will Hameur-Lain do his bang on impression of a deck chair and fold up quickly (almost comically so)?
Someone should hold a drinking game relating to the amount of clinches that occur during Adamchuk-Salvador.

It's something that ring announcers will have to get used to, especially in terms of creating/not killing of the drama of announcing the winner of a close fight. Last weekend Tim Hughes announced 6 scores for QaiHao-Moulun (IDK if you all know this, I ignore all social media so I guessed lot of people noticed). I thought it's only a split decision if it's 3-2 or 2-1 in terms of cards in favour of the winner. A clean sweep of cards in favour of one is obviously unanimous, anything other than that (4-1, 3-1-1, 2-1-2 etc) is a majority.
And on the subject, the KLF announcer needs to mix it up a bit, the way he reads the scores you already know who has won before he reveals it.

Ahh, that makes sense. The usual places hadn't thrown up anything. Cheers.

GLORY returning to New York is interesting. Insurance coverage has shot up dramatically since they last ran there and a reputed $1m per head bond for every fighter who appears on the show, as a consequence of the NYSAC's bungling of the boxer Magomed Abdusalamov's health and safety after he suffered life changing injuries in the state a few years back.
Plus, there were other factors that turned them off running NYC but now with the new investment they may feel they can pull it off again. Still, The Theater is a small venue so I wonder who will be on that show? It may be a Road To GLORY event or something along those lines.

A lot needs to be written about this fight as there are a lot of angles to look at it from, and I myself have plenty to type but will ultimately end up chasing my shadow and not making too much sense. So instead I will simply post a list of questions, that I don't necessarily want answering, just my feelings leading into the fight:
Why does Matchroom insist on hosting these "open" press conferences (and usually in cities where the fans are known to be particularly...erm...lively), giving free reign for members of the public to lambast and ridicule the opposing fighter?
Why were so many people quick to criticise David Haye for reacting in the manner that he did, in the face of nasty, personal and continuous abuse for the length of the "conference"?
Why has Tony Bellew decided to take the moral high road ever since Haye clipped him at their first face to face presser? He's been quick to jump on any Haye swear word, verbal mis step and even his parenting skills ever since he failed to see Haye's shot coming. This is coming from a man who has ticked every single box when it comes to the realms of taking the sport into disrepute ranging from threatening behaviour at press conferences and weigh in's, swearing on live TV and revels in his 'Scouse hard man/nutcase' persona but gets away with it every single time as "he's only selling a fight". Now he has found himself up against somebody who is willing to play the game alongside him, and he seems to be more than a little shaken by it.
Why has David Haye decided to forego mandatory VADA drug testing by removing himself from the WBC's ratings?
On a recent interview on IFL, why did Tony Bellew ask why Haye has been visiting Germany a lot recently, insinuating some kind of blood doping is going on (as I understand it)?
Are Haye's luxurious training camp videos from Miami indicative of somebody who really is lording it and not taking Bellew seriously or are they a clever attempt at trolling the trio of Bellew, Matchroom and Sky Box Office by pretending to barely prepare and appear almost laissez-faire in his outlook for a much publicised PPV event against a hated rival for a promoter that he has little time for and will still turn up at 70% and be able to win easily?
Will the losing run, David Price recently ran out of steam against Christian Hammer and Gavin McDonnell came up short against Rey Vargas last weekend, of Bellew's trainer, Dave Coldwell, continue with this fight?
Are Sky merely using this fight as an advertisement for a rumoured Haye-Joshua fight at Wembley Stadium in the late summer (should Joshua topple sad Wlad in April)?
Would UK Anti Doping make the trip to travel to Miami,FL for drug testing purposes?

I thought Hari was going to spontaneously combust at the end of the weigh in. He was snorting away like an old rhino.
As for the fight itself, I think Rico will win inside two rounds.

Power-IDK if you caught the thread I made with a recent-ish interview w/ Lomachenko, but I wrote a bit on Loma's past and why he's saw awesome in there. Just catching the H/L's of his performance against Walters is enough, he has an incredible mastery of movement and control with his lead foot, it's almost uncanny.
As for the HW's it seems to be that oft-told tale of "let's get these fights out of the way and THEN we can move onto the good stuff".
David Haye took a strictly business decision in facing Bellew. I'm kind of glad that the Briggs fight was aborted as that would have been an abomination of an event. The fact that social media has raised Briggs profile to the point that it is (or was) is sad enough, but for him to be anywhere near any kind of recognized world title is just wrong. The reason the fight isn't happening is, as always, financially related. Briggs is said to have turned down a $250,000-$300,000 offer for the fight to go down on free to air TV in the UK, with at least two major networks happy and willing to air the event, he wanted to roll the dice and go PPV, and said to be of the belief that he could earn approximately $5m (he's dreaming). Haye claims that he would only agree to a PPV fight if the WBA would agree to attach either their Super or Regular titles to the fight, Briggs said he could guarantee that which in turn led to a deal with UK subscription channel BoxNation being all but announced.
Briggs was only able to get the WBA to put their Interim title on the line, Haye said "Sorry, no dice." And just like that, the fight was colder than a dead mackerel. WBA ultimately ruled that Klit must box when the Super is next on the line (presumably against Anthony Joshua in the spring) and Browne must box when the Regular is on the line. Haye says that he offered Browne $2m to fight for the vacant Regular but was turned down flat. Then Browne failed a random drug test by the WBC, as part of their World Boxing Cares anti-doping 365/24/7 random campaign (strangely, Browne volunteered to be in the program, I don't think he's ranked by the WBC, whilst Haye is so far the biggest name fighter to be booted out of the WBC rankings after refusing to sign up to the policy) and nobody is sure of anything, ATM. Latest rumour is Briggs vs Alexander Ustinov in Russia for the vacant Regular, but I'm not holding my breath on that one being announced.

Has anyone discovered either a full event link or the full 10 fights uploaded individually anywhere yet for this show?
