Sitthichai beats Robin. I mean, there is no doubt in my mind on that one.

Birdies have implied that GLORY has one show on Spike left.
Daniels and Holzken have pulled in very good ratings on Spike whenever they've been on, so my guess is that Glory sees them as money together. I'm also guessing they'll try to get Schilling for this.

I wouldn't assume that those dates are anywhere near correct just yet.

I feel like you are projecting your own wishes upon these still photographs.

As we've seen in the past, if you can hit Rico you can put Rico down. The problem is actually hitting Rico.
Was January a fluke? He had a lot on his mind and wanted to pull out of the fight but couldn't because his manager has a financial stake in Kunlun, so yeah, I think we might be able to say "fluke." On the other hand, he got tagged and Benny is a lot better than Gershimachuk.
I think that when it comes to raw skill I give the nod to Rico. If Benny doesn't find an opening and tag him he won't win, period. We've seen the same thing with Daniel Ghita, whom I'd say is better than Adegbuyi (or at least was during his prime a few years back). But Benny can still win, which is exciting.

Glory 21 looked packed, but a guy at the show sent me a photo of an entire empty section after they started pushing people from the back sections to fill in the rest of the seats that were on camera.
It's VERY difficult to tell an attendance from a photo or two or from a television pan.
Every fight promotion none to man papers attendances, so yes, I assume they had people there, but I think that 5,000 seems plausible, but a round number.

This is technically his promotion, too, which makes it interesting.

I respect the people involved in it; StillWill, Schiavello, Gross, etc., but damn is there no actual content in it.
Insight such as "eh, you know, fuck it" for an explanation as to why he snapped twice in the ring is just... Yikes. This is what happens when fighters self-produce documentaries about how great they are.

I should probably go back in time and rank the guys that the Stoicas have beaten so that they can get the respect that they deserve, to be honest.

How is Gerges traveling internationally still is beyond me, but that's a big deal of a fight.

Well that's the thing. I don't agree with the "You have to support Glory for the future of our sport!" at all. Glory =/= the sport of kickboxing. Is Mighty Mo the Lungu of America, then? While I do feel that only h can answer that question, I'm tending toward YES. The "support GLORY to support kickboxing" thing is a bit of a double-edged sword. At one point that was the case. They had EVERYONE under contract, were bandying about the same kind of money as FEG's K-1 was and every show felt like it was a big deal. The GLORY that exists today is very different from that GLORY, from the management down to the fighters under contract. I think that the GLORY of right now could help kickboxing to breakthrough in America, as for the rest of the world? I'm not so sure that's the case anymore. I feel that China could really be the place that resurrects the sport right now, although I'm not sure that Kunlun will be that promotion. There is money to be made there, a desire to watch the sport at any level (as seen by the ratings K-1 pulled in) and a good opportunity to build the sport up again. Of course I'd be happiest if K-1 just never died and we were still watching the brand thrive in Japan, but alas.

Even some of the non-Americans on there are head-scratchers.
I respect Brestovac for what he's accomplished, but I don't exactly think of him as a top ten talent in the Heavyweight division. Kharitonov is still kind of unproven in kickboxing. The win over Braddock was nice, but the loss to Braddock showed that if he can't land a big shot he's pretty lost.

Well, apparently thanks to the new rankings there are no doubts because Xavier Vigney is now ranked higher than Braddock.
PROBLEM SOLVED.

Ristie can fight but Flamingo is barred from ringside. Ristie is saying that he won't fight without him, though, which leads us to a bit of an impasse.
The reason that I littered that article with "seen on MixFight" is because MixFight has been known to have some deep affiliations with some GLORY fighters, such as key people who own MixFight managing guys and whatever. MixFight was also the only site sent this information and has been a bit bitter towards GLORY of late.
Just sayin'.
