Like I said, he's an NYU School of Law graduate. What would you expect? Certainly not any intellectual consistency. Only the most ethically depraved ones with rich parents go to NYU to study law. The alumni are all gainsaying bullshit geysers, and I won't even apologize to you if you are one.

I don't know why, but I like Lukashenko for some reason. I know he's horrible, but he loves talking to the media, and I like watching him bullshit.

Just in case you don't get it, Zelensky requesting something doesn't mean Ukraine really needs it. For instance he's been asking everyone to send fighter jets to Ukraine, but it's clear now that mobile SAM systems are a hell of a lot more effective than fighter aircrafts to protect the Ukrainian sky. Ukraine already has good MiG-29s anyway, certainly better than the ones that Slovakia has.
And anything other than the MiG's would be useless anyway, because a vast majority of the Ukrainian pilots wouldn't know how to fly the damn thing. F-15? Forget it. It would take them months to be ready for combat.

Russia really shouldn't be able to afford to move that slowly in the Donbas. These things will terrorize them. The Switchblades and Phoenix Ghosts in particular will absolutely mess up the Russian soldiers both physically and psychologically.

Well, it seems to me at this point that it would take a major cockup for Ukraine to lose this phase of the war.
I'm sorry I sound like a parrot, but there are not enough troops for Russia. 3 to 1? Still not enough.
I think given the significant advantage that Ukraine seems to have on intel/tech and the fact that they are the defenders on the largely defender-friendly terrains, Russia would need much more troops to nullify the disadvantage. That would require the general mobilization.
You could argue that all it would do is send a shit load of largely combat-useless cannon fodders to be massacred, but I would even go so far as to say that the brutal fact of the matter is that that might be what Russia needs, a lot of cannon fodders, to numerically overwhelm the Ukrainians. To fight absolutely ugly. Otherwise, would they be able to even keep any territory other than the already-separatist regions and Mariupol?
And needless to say, that - the declaration of war and national mobilization - is the *last* thing that Putin wants to do, politically speaking.

Those ads in Russia to recruit men to fight in Ukraine make me sick. I can't read Russian, but the English translation sounds bad enough. They might pay them a lot, up to five times as much as the average Russian salary, but do those men really understand the actual situation on the fronts? I'm sure many do - it's not possible for the government to extensively and effectively control information in Russia, particularly with the younger generations - but some probably don't. They are either tragically desperate or tragically ignorant.
And many of them will be slaughtered.

He would've liked the Sopranos. Or maybe not. Gangsters depicted in a very realistic way did not particularly interest me. Maybe it wouldn't interest him either.

It's been more than two years, and I'm not lazy enough still not to know which sources can be trusted and which calculations should be applied to the data.
The US reached the one million Covid deaths milestone three months ago at latest.

I repeat: If you are still trying to argue against the efficacy of facial masks vs. viral diseases, to me you are the same as a flat-earther. Yes, it's that tiresome at this point.
The anti-mask arguments "make sense" to you, and I absolutely don't give a shit about what "makes sense" to a analytically-illiterate moron like you time-waster.

This moron's knowledge on the modern US history is lower than the average high school girl's.
Roe was 1973. Yeah, those salad days of unity, the 60's America!

Sullivan has basically done reverse Naomi Wolf. But an American being ignorant of the modern history of Northern Ireland is much, much more excusable than an Englishman *who works in the US as a conservative intellectual* being ignorant of the political situation and events/incidents in the 1960s America. What a fucking fool.
