Seeing how Benny and Jamal are fighting 14 days before glory 59, I don't think there will be a Tournament . Plus we have Yousri and Murthel on glory 59 card as well. So I don't think we are going to see a HW tournament. Probably just Rico vs Badr.

Let's wait and see. The one thing I hope they won't do is a 4-man HW tournament.
I'm getting annoyed just thinking of the possibility.

Don't think a 4-man would mean too much. At least as far as if Rico/Badr were in it. 8-man would get some old K-1 juices going for some people and you could also kinda stack that. Bunch of Dutch names for it and even the guys who aren't Dutch mostly wouldn't be completely unknown for that audience.
Can't imagine what they'd have to pay both Rico and Badr AND the prize for a tournament winner to make that happen though.

Whats Vakhitov doing? Nothing after August? Throw him in the mix.
Winner of Adegbuyi vs Saddik? Sure 2 week turnaround is fine.
That's 4 names already. 4 more is fine. Its in Amsterdam, I'm sure they can just pull off any tall bloke from the audience.

Looks like we have a partial fightcard (OP updated): GLORY 59 AmsterdamHeavyweight Title Fight: Rico Verhoeven (NLD) vs. TBA Lightweight Fight: Tyjani Beztati (MOR) vs. Christian Baya (ANG) GLORY 59 SuperFight SeriesWelterweight Fight: Murthel Groenhart (NLD) vs. Mohammed Jaraya (MOR) Light-Heavyweight Fight: Mourad Bouzidi (TUN) vs. Michael Duut (NLD) Heavyweight Fight: Roel Mannaart (NLD) vs. Daniel Skvor (CZE) GLORY 59 PrelimsLightweight Fight: Stoyan Koprivlenski (BUL) vs. Anil Cabri (TUR) Middleweight Fight: Kevin van Heeckeren (NLD) vs. Donovan Wisse (SUR) Welterweight Fight: Miles Simson (SUR) vs. Kevin Hessling (NLD) Welterweight Fight: Brahim Kallah (MOR) vs. Robbie Hageman (NLD) mixfight.com/2018/07/GLORY-maakt-deel-Fightcard-GLORY-59-bekend-2Along with Badr's Twitter announcement that he won't fight at this, things looks a bit underwhelming to me. Cool to see Mannaart in Glory I guess.

hahah Groenhart can be a little on and off in his fights but that to me is quite a step up for Jaraya in his new weight class. Looked like for a while there Glory was letting him settle in over a few fights but big home event so fuck that I guess ...and yup looks a little underwhelming if no Badr (or Reem? ). Wilnis-Adegbuyi a couple weeks before this event, hopefully aren't waiting/expecting for the winner of that to face Rico. Other than them is it just going to be Guto then or who? I'm seemingly one of the few people who'd like to see that fight but even I get that it probably wouldn't be a huge ticket seller fight in .nl.

Now I hear that Badr unfollowed glory on instagram lol. Also the fact that he is so vocal about not fighting in september sound like a blow he tries to give glory so they can't sell tickets on behalf of those who would have still expected hari to fight in september.

I mean they're bringing back Daniel Skvor who was in that beyond awful fight against Tomas Mozny at Glory 51. I get that some people like Guto and that's fine, but I can't imagine many will argue that Rico vs. Guto is an equally exciting matchup as Rico vs. Badr II. To be fair it's not just Guto though: is there any heavyweight at this point who is good enough to make Rico sweat aside from maybe Badr?

Badr was doing more than fine before the arm injury, he was winning in my books (from what i remember, only watched it live) up until that point. So Badr is defintely good enough. For the others though, they would need WAY better cardio to have a chance. Even if there are skilled enough guys to take on Rico, they also need to last more than a round and a half to be able to win.

Yeaaah, I've heard there is a dispute. Go figure, right? Hilariously enough, GLORY is supposed to be drug testing more in their European shows.
