That's understandable and perfectly fine.
I'm talking about people/"countries"/media outlets with no tangible stake or benefit.

The group stage is officially over, here are the Final 16 matchups: Countries I'll be rooting for from this point onward are Portugal, Japan, Croatia and Belgium.

Wish luck to Croatia and dumma Belgs. Croatia-Belgium final would be great. Then Portugal/Spain and guess wouldn't mind the Danes or Swedes doing okay either.

i don't see any of that. I just live in a state with a lot of Mexicans. That's a bit reassuring at least. Man, I must be surrounded by people that 'secretly' hate me lol

LoL, that was hilarious but well deserved. Of course talking about the Neymar vid This World Cup sure is interesting. Maybe half of the games are actually worth watching but I sure enjoy when the underdogs upset the favourites. And now with Messi gone I only need Cristiano and Neymar to say goodbye as well You know K1power, I think it has more to do with politics than actual hate towards Germans. Also, it's like half of Europe likes to hate and being hated in return.

I agree with almost everything you said, but I must admit Ronaldo actually really grew on me. I couldn't stand him for years for his arrogance, but the fact that he does a lot to help the poor and his political stance completely negate his arrogance as an athlete, at least for me.
Also, I mean, the man is a fucking beast. They did measure some of his feets: he jumps higher than the average NBA player and in one of his sprints during the group stage he tipped 40 km/h!! That's Usain Bolt territory. I'll never be fond of arrogant athletes, but if they can at least back up the talk I can appreciate their level of skill.
