He beat Abena by corruption. Melvin also did it for Aygun. Mahieddine won over Stoica controversially, then Aygun won even more controversially. These two are nothing than untalented fighters, because also the Polish beat just old cans. I don't think Mahieddine's win over Stoica was controversial. Was it a close, competitive fight? Sure, but I had no issues with Mahieddine getting the decision. That's the general thing to happen with close fights, though; personal bias toward a fighter or toward certain scoring criteria will always divide people. It doesn't help when different referees have different interpretations of rulesets and judges seem to be inconsistent in what they favor and appear to have their own biases. Is corruption a deciding factor, at least sometimes? Sure. In fact, I do agree that Aygun getting the decision over Mahieddine felt fishy.

So yeah, the two final slots go to Mohamed Abdallah and Arkadiusz Wrzosek. You may remember Abdallah from his not so hot performance against D'Angelo Marshall not too long ago, but he does have tournament experience and won the A1 Tournament last year where he beat Glory's other new kid Donegi Abena: As for Arkadiusz Wrzosek, here's his very recent fight against Vladimir Tok: While I do like the idea of fresh faces getting a chance, Abdallah nor Wrzosek exactly seem like hot up and comers. Both fighters seem serviceable, but unless one of them is matched up with Guto - who I just don't think is very good - I don't give either guy a serious chance to make it far. I may turn out to be wrong and I don't want to come off as mean, but they do seem like somewhat lackluster additions to the field. When it's another promotion that just doesn't have the talent nor budget to make a bigger tournament happen I am a lot more forgivable, but even without Rico and Badr this tournament could be a lot more attractive. It's not that I dislike the tournament, not at all, but when it was first announced I was really excited. Now I just think it's pretty cool. Now all that's left is announce the matchups I guess. Like I said a while ago, it was gonna be a letdown when they finally announced the final entrants.

Apparently the draw already happened, but they won't show it until it airs on Veronica later tonight. Couldn't find a live stream for Veronica on the fly, but I'm pretty sure they'll put it on YouTube or something after. Either way will share the results when I come across them.

Think good for Adegbuyi and Ben Saddik, as I'm not at all on the Tafa train yet. Slightly bad for Wilnis. Overall odds of Adegbuyi winning the whole thing rose.
Seeds all win their quarters. Adegbuyi beats Wilnis who has a more tiring quarterfinal. JBS beats Inocente. Adegbuyi wins the final unless JBS ended both his fights early.

Just saw the results. And after seeing the draw it really looks like benny and wilnis are clear favourites now. Tafa and Abdallah, which were the only good fighters from those 4 wild cards, went to Ben saddik and guto side of the pyramid. Jamal is going to have 3 decent fighters in guto,tafa and even Abdallah( who already won a tournament this year in which tavares and Abena fought). And though style-wise Jamal vs Tafa is the most intersting fight in this tournament in my opinion, I'm even less excited now as I would have wanted for it to be more balanced and have wilnis and benny meet strong opponets on their side of the pyramid. Jamal and tafa, which one will advance to the final, won't have the gas tank to beat wilnis or benny. The only hope is that they may finish their fights very fast, but seeing how guto is there I feel we are going to see at least a decision win from jamal or tafa which kind of dooms them for the final.

You literally couldn't ask for a better draw to get your favored participants into the next round.

OP updated with what seems to be the finalized card. Some shuffling and changes; Wisse vs. Bayrak appears to be the one and only Prelim bout, probably to balance the increased number of fights on the main card due to the tournament. Furthermore Hageman is fighting newly signed Hamicha instead of Jaraya who is off the card and Simson is fighting Menshikov instead of Mezouari who appears to be off as well.
Oh and we have Tavares vs. Gorlov as a co-main event which Glory tries their best to sell as this huge thing which it isn't.

Hamicha = Mezouari
Think it's just his nickname though idk why they're going with it.

Typical Dutch corruption from the matchmaking, Ben Saddik getting a loser without leg kicks then Inocente, whilst Adegbuyi getting a pretty talented Polish and in winning streak and then Wilnis. Inocente also getting Mozny, not very much.
Hemmers or the new Dutch in the matchmaking team protecting his guys: Ben Saddik, Wilnis and Inocente.
My prediction is Wilnis wins the tournament or Ben Saddik via corrupt decision (against Wilnis anyway). Pretty much the same results as in Melvin Manhoef's WFL.
Maybe you don't like my opinion, but I can have my own personal opinions.

Stop it with the quest for racism against Romanians already. Not saying certain fighters aren't getting favorable treatment because of their connections, but not everything is a conspiracy to fuck over Romanians or other Non-Dutch based fighters.

First thing first ben saddik got by far the best wild card fighter, while benny got by far the worst. Wrzosek lost 12 months ago to Colin George who has lost almost every single fight in his career. Also Wrzosek lost to Nikolai Falin who has a negative kickboxing record. It's one thing to have an opinion and it's another to push agendas and accusing others of things that are obviously not true.
