When legal actions come, they will have to sue the old singaporean company; not the new british one.
So all the old shareholders will have to pay, but none of them will get any future profit. I was reading that shareholders were taking all the profit from Rico vs Badr 2.

For now it's just being rumored on Mixfight so take this with a spoon of salt, but Glory's supposedly looking to focus way more on the heavyweight division. A lot more.

Talpa, the company behind Dutch TV station Veronica, has decided to stop broadcasting Glory events as per direct. mmadna.nl/breaking-talpa-stopt-per-direct-met-het-uitzenden-van-glory/The reasons stated are disappointing ratings for events where Rico and Hari aren't fighting, Glory's current situation and their currently somewhat shady reboot. I guess that 'more focus on heavyweights' rumor might have some weight behind it. lol

Raul Catinas signed with Glory: http://instagram.com/p/CEbIBQoh1T- He hasn't fought in almost 5 years and arguably threw the best years of his career away, but he's still only 32 and may make a splash if he gets his shit together.

Ah, you beat me to it Jason Wilnis must be biting himself in the ass for giving the fight away like that. Idranyi was game though, he weathered the storm and countered hard when the openings presented themselves. At least Jahfarr Wilnis was able to save the family honor.

So to expand on this rumor a bit; apparently Glory wants to go back to the old days of K-1 with a HW Grand Prix. Kinda mixed feelings about that to be honest, if it's true that is. Though the recent heavyweight signings could be pointing in that direction.

Watching saki latest instagram posts and hashtags that he used, he seems to be back to kickboxing. Anyway, he is very shot, I doubt he will be a top fighter anymore.

Let's take a look at heavyweights active around the world:
Rico Verhoeven Jamal Ben Saddik Benjamin Adegbuyi Badr Hari D'Angelo Marshall Antonio Plazibat Jahfarr Wilnis Nordine Mahieddine Zinedine Hameur-Lain Tarik Khbabez Ibrahim El Bouni Roel Mannaart Ismael Londt James McSweeney Fabio Kwasi Hesdy Gerges Raul Catinas Zabit Samedov Catalin Morosanu Freddy Kemayo Levi Rigters Daniel Skvor Cihad Kepenek Tomas Mozny Kirill Kornilov Tomas Hron Dzevad Poturak
Hell, let's throw in some Light Heavyweights that would, could or already have competed at HW as well:
Artem Vakhitov Alex Pereira Luis Tavares Donegi Abena Ariel Machaco Roman Kryklia Anderson Silva Andrei Stoica Murat Aygün Artur Gorlov Danyo Ilunga
Then there are some guys looking to make a comeback, like:
Ismael Lazaar Errol Zimmerman Daniel Ghita Tyrone Spong also said he'd return to kickboxing for the right price.
That gives us ~40 fighters and I'm probably still missing a few names here and there.
Look at that list. Most of these guys have been active in recent history and a lot of them are past their prime.
Even this older, battle-damaged and inactive Saki is a fighter I'd easily pick over at least half these guys.
I also think you could make an attractive final 16 lineup out of those names that contains a healthy mix of younger fighters and veterans with Saki being one of them.
Sure, Saki probably won't be winning any meaningful belts anymore, but I'd rather see him finish his career in kickboxing where he's more comfortable, can hide behind the big gloves and give us a few more entertaining fights.
