Goddamn that must suck for him too. No fights for a year and a half, finally have something...event is postponed...then injure yourself out of the fight  Don't mind Micheletti as a replacement tho. |

Saw Micheletti in action once or twice. Can't really remember his performance tbh. At least he holds a victory over Tavares so there's some theme spin they can give this.
Sucks about Maslobojev though. Here's hoping that's the extent of injuries/replacements.

Aaand shitty card update number 2 is here: http://instagram.com/p/CTEaImQoKwt Two pretty big blows to the card in rapid succession. The one saving grace is that both replacements have actually beaten their respective opponents in the past. I think I was even at the A1 event where Hoduk defeated Hamicha and vaguely remember it being a boring fight. The card is still very strong, but I really hope that's it as far as injuries go. |

Just getting at least some hits in, before getting injured in the fight again. It just makes no sense to me. After this whole period of behaving like an actual adult - at least publically - Badr pulling a stunt like this against a guy who isn't aggressive at all and pretty much just put in this position as a sacrificial lamb to give him a victory makes no sense at all. Even if it's just for show, it's so stupid and uncalled for. I dunno, perhaps he's just scared of losing again. |
