The T8KO thing very much seems to be with Andrew Tate. Looking at their instagram all they've posted is Tate stuff. Think his brother posted about the promotion too. Interesting business move from Enfusion to position themselves so close to the Tate's lol. Enfusion also added some upcoming events and the T8KO events seem to be done in the same manner as Glory Rivals events are, or should I say how they were done... An Enfusion card leading into a T8KO card the same evening. Doesn't seem like there will be any Rivals events with Enfusion, for the next 5 months or so. My suspicions of Glory Rivals coming to an end looking pretty good now. Hopefully Glory gets back to a monthly schedule themselves. Perhaps they'll announce upcoming things on the Glory 82 broadcast. That is a very decent 16 man tournament. |

I think it was pretty much expected that they were going to do a K-1 like system.
Not a fan of the link with Tate, but of course I'm a big proponent of one night 8 man tournaments and Final 16 style eliminations.
Not even K-1 Japan is currently doing Final 16 eliminations, but with the amount of weightclasses they're maintaining over less than 10 events per year I understand how that would be a challenge.
Here's hoping the decent looking line-ups for T8KO don't change dramatically as time goes on.

It looks like Overeem pissed hot again after his fight with Badr. They're currently awaiting the B-sample for confirmation, but this would sideline Reem for a while and open Rico up to fight Plazibat first. |

Yup, last fight before this one was his 2019 fight against Daniel Ghita during his short-lived comeback.

Petchtanong is 37, really surprised he pulled this off. But he is skilled and big for the weight class. Interested to see his next fight.

- He's fighting Cihad Kepenek in Istanbul, Turkey on October 8th (not sure which promotion). Mega Fight Arena (MFA). They announced Adegbuyi and Hron fighting on the same event too. Burak Mataraci and Erkan Varol did a big show under the KOK banner in Istanbul at Ulker Sports Arena earlier this year. This looks like maybe Mataraci trying to do it on his own(?) at the same place. It's very weird, there's like 3 promotor guys or something and they do shows under at least 4 different promotions names. Wish they picked one project and made a real go with it. But hey, maybe this is just that... The KOK Ulker Sports Arena show had almost all the foreign names drop out days before the event tho, so with this I would wait till weigh-ins to see who actually shows up  So this card is now be happening as a KOK card. 9th of December. Seems sorta half baked this time around too, first it got postponed and then just re-branding it on 2 weeks notice. Wish they stick to just doing shows under the KOK brand now. Should be fun times. Last time they were at Ülker Sports Arena they really tried to make it a big event. Had little issues, but they clearly put money into the production then. |
