In what's probably the last bit of kickboxing related news of 2022, Jamal Ben Saddik has run into some trouble regarding the opening of his new Gym 'Vinci Club' in Antwerp, Belgium. The mayor of Antwerp has protested the opening of the gym. This seems to be in response to yet another assault/threat on the Ben Saddik family just a couple of weeks ago. This time, Vinci Club was targeted with heavy fireworks with the following message being left at the scene: "Death to JBS thief". www.vechtsportinfo.nl/nieuws/sportclub-jamal-ben-saddik-mag-niet-open-burgemeester-ligt-dwars/A bit of a grim story. There have now been numerous similar incidents targeting the Ben Saddik family over the past year, starting around the time Jamal went to prison for that shady phone business. I hope this situation doesn't escalate any further in 2023. |

Hope JBS and his family will be alright.
Just yesterday was reading up on some Ron Nyqvist/Golden Glory things again. He got shot after 10+ years had passed seemingly for shit he had done.
Can't help but to think who/how JBS might've fucked someone over when that phone thing went down.
