It's funny you mention it: I come from about an hours drive south of Copenhagen (our Capital), and a lot of the "big" boys from the Copenhagen camps smoked something, which at the time, I didn't know anything about. I was just SO into being a good fighter, and living a dream visiting Maeng-Ho, Chakuriki (becoming friends with Thom Harinck) etc. But yeah they were great times - made a lot of good friends and have a huge network because of these days. Sorry for high jacking the thread guys. Will stop now.

No worries. I might be an idiot, but I'm stil true to the game. So many years have been past. I actually remember that we had a discussion about what would happen without K-1. Now you see. It's a mess. This said: I think it's pretty amazing that you are stil there and repping Kickfighting. Respect. We need people like you, and that's all I gotta say. Oh, Overeem by KO

And will. I think he has emotional problems. And I'm not saying this out of hate: I respect him as a fighter, but over the last few years I think his losses have looked suspicious..... like he just wanted to get out of the ring again. But we'll see. I'm buzzing and writing an article about it right now.

Yeah, that's the thing.... when Hari fights, you gotta watch. Kinda like the Diaz Bros. You just need to watch it.

Ha ha ha, exactly! Overeem just contacted me: the interview will be done after the fight. He's a really cool guy. Even apologized.

And I'm not saying this out of hate: I respect him as a fighter, but over the last few years I think his losses have looked suspicious..... like he just wanted to get out of the ring again. But we'll see. I'm buzzing and writing an article about it right now. I'm no Hari fan and have yet to read your article, but I too have my theories on some of Hari's recent losses. The go-to conclusion is that, yeah, Hari got older and his body and motivation aren't the same anymore. Also, and this is more of a 'cosmic balance' thing, but I see these past few years as Badr experiencing Karma. That aside though, I think there's an accumulation of more nuanced factors that have affected Badr's recent performances. For starters, between 2011 and 2015, Badr wasn't very active and most of the fights he took were easy paychecks. Then by the time he started challenging himself again he learned the hard way he wasn't in his 20s anymore and things weren't as easy as he expected going into it. While he still gave everyone he fought since 2016 a run for their money, his body has gotten injury prone and he tends to mentally check out at the first signs of pushback. Badr was always a guy who could both defeat and lose to anyone, but his youth is what often gave him the edge he needed. With his youth gone, he's been losing that coin-toss a lot more often. Also, I still believe Badr was still suffering from the effects of Covid against Adegbuyi. He just looked like he had absolutely no energy in that fight. And I don't want to take anything away from Adegbuyi here. He's a solid fighter in his own right and showed a lot more heart than Badr did, coming back from that knockdown and turning the fight around. With all of that said, who do I have winning this Saturday? I'm going with Overeem, but it really is a toss-up.

Hari has no chin. Overeem neither. LOL
They will just swing and the first one who gets caught will go own.
My (imganery) money is on Reem.
