I read somewhere that our chin gets weaker when we age? Anybody know anything about that?

Maaaan, I wish I could write as eloquently as you: SPOT on! Totally agree! You're way too nice man, but cheers! Hari has no chin. Overeem neither. LOL They will just swing and the first one who gets caught will go own. My (imganery) money is on Reem. While I think you have a point, this is HW and even the guys with the best chins have been one-shotted at least once; i.e. Sefo, Hunt, you name them. An example of this era; Rico has been one-shotted by Zimmerman, but at the same time he survived some BOMBS from Ben Saddik. Twice! Guys who like to go in swinging just set themselves up for counters they don't see coming a lot more. |

I have no actual science to back this up, but at the very least it gets brought up as 'common knowledge' a lot in fight conversation. And it makes sense. Generally speaking people get more fragile as they age so fighters being unable to take the same amounts of punishment as their careers progress is within the line of expectation. To end on a more optimistic note; another popular saying is "Power goes last". So as long as the power is still there, even an old dog has a fighting chance. |

As much as I want to say Glory is getting better at these press events - and I did like this one - they keep making amateur mistakes. The audio quality for this was just awful.
That said, gotta love how Maslobojev got under Khbabez' skin.
It was also great how Alistair embarrased Glory when he called out Rico not defending his belt in favor of doing his own thing somewhere else.

The two judges scoring it a draw were really stretching it. I thought Braun finished R2 strong enough to take it. A draw at best.
