Oohh already MUCH nicer than the Enfusion Rivals cards. This actually deserves to be called Rivals.

is it? I think Adamchuk takes this; The ukrainian is beatable, but he is extremely complex to deal with. Kopri also will end Kaito hype. I think Adamchuk and Koprivlenski are too big for those guys. Ezbiri probably will beat Taiju like he beat Noiri.
Jap squad is going to fall hard.

I'm not educated enough when it comes to Rise's roster, so if you say the non-Japanese fighters will make a clean sweep I'll take your word for it. It's hard to go against Koprivlenski and Petch anyway.
When I say Adamchuk is a downgrade I mean in terms of my expectations for a fun, competitive fight. Adamchuk may very well be above Zouggary, but I'm not the biggest fan of his style as he tends to neutralize fights.

Main problem is that Haraguchi used to fight at 63kg; Adamchuk fights between 65-70kg and feels ok with his size (when he beat Marat they fought at 70kg I think), Koprivlenski is a decent size 70kg and Kaito fights normally with 67-68kg; Shiratori almost always fights at 63kg and Ezbiri is a world class veteran who also fights between 65 and 67kg... And Petch... Well he is favorite against every other fighter on his weightclass.
Is like RISE wants to make all his fighters lose

Kento Haraguchi was getting a lot of shit from fans a few months ago. Pictures emerged of him partying with two foreign women (if I remember correctly) when he either should've been training or at least around the time of the fight he was having. Accusations of not taking things seriously abound..
On a really random note, I love RISE's production. It feels like a video game sometimes in the ring during introductions and sometimes from the crowd when the cameraman is wandering around. They do that stuff better than K-1 imo.

Happening this Sunday on Christmas.
Probably the last notable kickfighting event of the year.
A fun card to end the season.

So is GLORY sweeping this? I can't help but get that feeling. I am a Kaito fan, but he looked okay against a mediocre foreigner Samo Petje (who recently lost at SENSHI 14) and he got a gift against another foreigner at Shoot Boxing in his last fight.
I don't trust Taiju's punch resistance.

Pleasant surprise the Glory part of the event is streaming for free on Abema without needing a VPN.
