Yeah, I'm getting less confident they're doing an event in February.
As for the card we're at 9 fights total and we still need at least one tournament reserve, so I'm sure it's close to being finalized. Perhaps one more fight or two will be added to the reserve bout to serve as prelims.

Rico saying there'll be a draw for the tournament spots, somewhere end of this month.
He also had a decent selling point for this event in that people would (likely) get to see him fight 3 times instead of the usual 1. Not sure how much Glory is emphasizing that particular possibility in public. Good value for money if you've ever buying tickets to see Rico fight.

I wonder how much of a ticket seller Rico by himself really is. Sure, there are a bunch of crowd pleasing fighters on the card, but for the average viewer or fanboy I'm not sure this has anything near the pull of a Rico vs Badr/Jamal matchup.
I'm also not sure for what capacity the Gelredome will be configured.

Plazibat confirmed in his podcast that he's officially out of the GP.
Looks like his hand isn't fully healed yet and he doesn't want to risk making things worse.
He hopes Jamal takes his place, but I've already read rumors Mahieddine may get the spot.

Mahieddine getting the GP spot. JBS would've been the smart choice, or Spong as a bit of a curve ball. Little disappointing and this isn't adding a lot to the tournament. Kepenek getting reserve spot against Benny.
Imagine if Rico wasn't in the tournament now...

Glory dropped the ball on multiple levels with this whole thing.
I still like the tournament, but that's really what it feels like at this point: just a tournament happening in March. This isn't a Grand Prix to me.
I hope I'm proven wrong, but this feels tailor made for Rico to breeze through no matter which three guys he fights.
