Out of curiosity I took a look at ticket sales. Some interesting bits: - Tickets go between €45-€1500. - Tickets can only be bought in sets of two. - The sections marked dark red are sold out. - The sections marked light red still have seats available; these vary from still having all seats available to being close to selling out. - I haven't done proper counting, but based on the number of seats available in larger sections I'd estimate the venue configuration to be in the low thousands. - Ballparking it, I'd say a bit less than 50% of the tickets have been sold so far. The event is five weeks away and there are still lots of empty areas. While obviously a bunch more tickets will be sold as we close in on March 9th, I'm not so sure they'll sell out even at this somewhat modest looking configuration. Even though as the champ he adds legitimacy to the tournament, I don't think Rico alone is enough of a draw to sell out bigger events.

They've rescheduled it like four times already and now it's one of the main three fights on a card that has much bigger implications. I guess the winner could go on to fight someone like Touchassie in a title eliminator, but yeah it must be someone's dream fight over there

Glory in a funny spot. How do they justify not putting JBS in now.
JBS, or Spong, if neither of them then guess it'll be Adegbuyi by default. Trying to think of random HW's out there but there really aren't many anymore.

https://www.instagram.com/p/C3I_OPPyfrR As if they still need to poll this lol. But yeah, if they put in Jamal and nothing else goes wrong over the next four weeks the tournament is pretty much fixed as far as I'm concerned.

It'll be Badr lulz.

If at this point Badr stood a serious chance of winning a fight in the tournament I wouldn't have put it past them to throw him in.

It needs to be JBS. Badr might draw more of a crowd but JBS definitely deserves to be in there!

Oh yeah I don't think anyone was seriously considering Badr for the spot (other than maybe Rico himself lol).
Badr has had enough chances to qualify, or just win a fight in general for that matter.
Edit: Read some gossip that it will be Jamal and he'll be officially confirmed on Monday.

Jamal training away from Mike and with Khachab whom he may face first if he indeed replaces Mahieddine?

With all the tournament discussion going on these two matchups tend to be overlooked, but they should produce solid fights.
