Looks like they are looking for a foreign fighter to fill the wildcard.
They probably learned the lesson and will make a (co-)main event with a title involving a japanese fighter.

They're adding a second tournament to the card at 55kg.
Aside from this making the card massive again, I hope having a second tournament take place won't undercut the main attraction at 70kg.
According to wiki, Ce vs. Sattari is also taking place at this event.

We're at 23 fights already, but apparently Matsukura Shintaro and Yokoyama Tomoya are also fighting.
Not seeing Liu Ce vs. Sattari listed anywhere anymore, though.

Liu Ce got injured mid May. Sattari wants the fight for September instead. The only other mention of Sattari I could find was Anpo and Sudario in the build up for their BREAKING DOWN match talking about him and their shared experiences sparring and training with him in the past.

So the wildcard is Buakaw.

I have mixed feelings about this.
On one hand Buakaw is a K-1 legend and even at 42 still a legit competitor in the division with name value.
On the other hand I haven't forgotten about him walking out of the K-1 Max Finals in 2014. Sure, it was K-1 Global and we don't need to re-open that whole can of worms, but that situation pretty much soured my opinion on Buakaw.

Is a win-win situation for K-1
As this may be the last K-1 tournament for Buakaw, if he wins everybody will be talking about this.
If he loses, K-1 has the allegation that the new generation of K-1 Max is superior to the old (and over the hill) gen.
Buakaw is an eyes turner, his bareknuckle fight against Saenchai seems to have lots of views.

Koprivlenski is replacing an injured Feng. Really sucks Feng is out, even though they got a good replacement. I do think this increases Buakaw's chances.
