Last week Eminem dropped a surprise album in which he went after the current rap culture/music industry. Disses include a relatively unknown rapper called Machine Gun Kelly (MGK).
Just a few days after the album was dropped, MGK came out with a response diss track and it's actually good!
Shortly after MGK's diss track hit the web, a video went up Eminem's social media channels of him playing Ms. Pac-Man (MGK has a tattoo of Pac-Man):
It seems like a no-brainer this is a teaser for the response that is coming up.
Eminem is one of the GOATs of rap, but it's cool that some unknown hillbilly rapper (with some actual skills) has the balls to come after Eminem like that. Even if it is all publicity for both sides.
I've been wondering recently what really makes specific songs worth listening to. Is it the music, lyrics, genre etc. or is the fact that it's just catchy good enough? I mean, I personally will always check lyrics (especially if the music in question is in a language I'm not too familiar with) but there are songs that are plain stupid and I still like them. Guess I will listen to anything that will just suit my tastes, regardless of genre, music, vocalists voice etc. Anyway, recently came to like this duo quite a lot.
