Actual promotion being done well in advance of the event? Nice!

What's up with all these weight classes? 61, 67, 70, 72 kg. Ok, at this point probably not very usefull to complain about this, as the card is pretty weak anyway, but still...

I think the card is actually pretty good, given what names are left and considering K-1's current budget which I feel is REALLY, REALLY low. I imagine it to be around SuperKombat level low.
The weightclasses make absolutely zero sense though, they need to clearly define them and abide by them. At this point I think they are just happy to have a decent card to put out and go from there.

This is the best K-1 card since the Final 16 that they ran what feels like ages ago.

It is almost exactly a year ago, I believe Final 16 were held on 14 or 16 September.

Well, maybe you are more aware of some of the names on this card than me. Because, other than the obvious good MAX final, I only know about Daley and Dida, who both can be seen as rather MMA attractions. As always, it's subjective and a matter of taste. Speaking about that, I do have a hard time believing that the local crowd in Thailand is really all that pumped for this current card either, except for Buakaw of course. I doubt the Thais even know who Daley is. You say "given what names are left and considering K-1's current budget which I feel is REALLY, REALLY low", but I do think that there would be certain recognizable fighters and local talent available, who wouldn't cost the world either. Sure, maybe it's a good thing that they are rebuilding the brand rather slow. I don't know what kind of plan they follow, but it surely makes some kind of sense. But at some point we do need to expect some K-1 quality, not just the logo of it. Maybe some other decent matches will be still announced...

Well, here's the thing. There is an entire undercard on this event that is ALL Buakaw's guys. So there will be a lot of local talent on the card.
Rungravee is a really good addition to the card, popular both inside of Thailand and outside of Thailand.

I see. I was under the impression that those were all the fights that has been announced so far. I didn't expected K1power to be that sloppy. J/K What do you guys think about Daley fighting for K-1? I'm curios to see if they maybe can make him to be a household name within the promotion. Which seems to be difficult considering that he has also stuff going on with Bamma as well as with Bellator. For a UK card he would be good. For Thailand though? I don't know.
