Buakaw Banchamek VS Enriko Kehl - K-1 World Max Championship Fight
More details TBAI wonder which venue they will use. I heard they were going to do this in the US initially, but Thailand is a no-brainer really. Just announced on their Facebook page www.facebook.com/K1GlobalTV.ENG?fref=ts

Paul 'Semtex' Daley will make his K-1 debut at 80kg on this card.
It's interesting to see that K-1 is also bringing heavier guys to a Thai event. I wonder how the crowd will react to it.

From Banchamek Gym's facebook
A warmup fight for Souwer seems like obvious choice here if he is to fight the champion at a later event.

It's starting to sound solid.

So Banchamek Gym is running a contest it seems
Looks like they have the venue already decided but to hold out on announcing it just for such a contest, I don't know.
Well, wonder who they'll get to fight Daley. That 80kg division looks like tailored made just for him which raises some concerns (his contract is for only a year it seems; will they really get anyone who will pose any challenge for him at all? Dave seemed to suggest that no; etc.).

Stan Longinides fought Kirkwood Walker for some kind of Muay Thai Heavyweight title in Thailand around 20 something years ago. I think the crowd was really enthusiastic. Longinides even did the Wai Kru with the shooting arrows, which the crowd loved.

That's good to read! This card is shaping up nicely. Also, Banchamek Gym is featured on the undercard fights.

Looking nice. Seems like a nice budget for this show, well it's Thailand after all and Buakaw is fighting so most likely some solid sponsors are involved. Kulebin fought on the Combat Banchamek card so he was a likely suspect to be involved here as well (we can probably assume anyone from that card as possible here). Would like to know though if it's just through the Banchamek connection or if he will be involved with K-1 going forward (would be nice to know which fighters that are fighting on the K-1 shows have contracts and which are just brought as one time deals to fill the card). Have a feeling that Dida might possibly return here.

I just wish they'd be more consistent with the weight classes and didn't have these random 67 and 72 kg fights. Define your weight classes clearly and stick with them.

Haha I saw, it was terrible. It was quite literally the worst looking K-1 event ever.
