I told them on their Facebook page that they've got the times completely wrong. Everyone will completely miss the event by almost half a day like this..

If that's indeed accurate we should expect it to at least look decently, right?

I called Ned today to be like 'ayo, that time seems wrong.'
Apparently what's going on is that the broadcast event will be two hours long and feature 4 - 5 fights from the top of the card. So realistically, other than Japan not being three days ahead of me, those times are okay.
The start time of that late in Thailand is pretty much what they are banking on. I'm not sure which fights it will be, but I'm pretty sure it's the Suarez fight, Dida, Daley and Buakaw/Kehl.
They are talking about putting the rest of the card up online the day after or so, which I'm okay with. Apparently it's because of their deal with Channel 7 in Thailand that they are doing all of this. They have a two hour deal with Channel 7 and they are going to stream the broadcast of Channel 7, only I assume with some sort of English commentary (?).

If that's indeed accurate we should expect it to at least look decently, right? Yeah, I mean, this is going to be the best looking K-1 show in a long time at least. I'm not sure it'll look as good as the past ones, but everyone handling it is super professional and they are no longer having Javier Rolo from Street Culture run their production anymore. Solana Marketing are the people who literally helped pull Buakaw out of bankruptcy and got him all of these bigger sponsors (which are also sponsoring the K-1 show, mind you), so after this show I'm not sure if Buakaw will have any of his sponsors left or if he'll compete for K-1 again. How zany. Solana are also the ones who are doing just about everything for this show. At least from what I've seen of the photos of the set up and everything it looks really solid and professional. The arena is relatively small (about 4,000), but they've offloaded all of the tickets so it will at least be full. The other good news is for you dudes in Europe that they have a deal with Eurosport, although not for live events.

LOL The start time for the broadcast, outside of Japan, is right, though; www.ch7.com/schedule.htmlChannel 7 starts airing the live event at 22:45 Thai time.

Thinking of doing a live event discussion here, its been a while. We could use the activity.

If the times outside Japan are right for us like Dave said it's going to be in approx. 16 hours. that means the main card starts in Thailand local time around 22:45, which is still pretty crazy.
