Wish they just relaxed with the Coker guy vs. Di Blasi random -format. Okay I get you want to use Schilling, Varga, Ross and Daniels all you can but they've managed like 2 good match ups with those guys in 8 events so far. That ratio has to go way the fuck up. This last event also had Paraschiv vs. A. Petrosyan on the undercard. That's the 2nd best fight on the whole card, it has to be bumbable up to the Bellator tv portion and just not making one of those of the Coker guy vs. Di Blasi random fights at all.
The main guys seem to get paid pretty well in Bellakick so happy for them for that. Anytime someone can make money in the sport good for them, specially from a legit company like Viacom go ahead. From a sporting perspective though Schilling and Varga have gone to being basically completely irrelevant in the sport.
After 7 events they did manage to make Schilling vs Verlinden I have to give them that, was quite good actually. Hoping they do more fights like that. Still other than that the absolute only reason I could name any of their opponents is because of the WTF nature of some losses. Oh Kato KO'd Schilling again in a freak way after being dominated or wait Varga lost to some Gorbics guy?
I dare anyone to try name a guy Daniels has fought in Bellakick*. *other than Ghajji in one of those 2 notable fights they've managed so far for the North Americans

Also Ross vs. Varga seemed to be something they wanted to do for the title but the results have just gone against making that. First Varga loses a fight I imagine never in a millions years they thought he would lose and now Ross lost. Even though I guess Ross is the champ now/still? If they had any shred of legitimacy they'd bring back Imane for a title fight but maybe they'll just ham-fist that Ross-Varga fight in now that Varga is coming off a win?

I have alternatively heard that the kid was a POS who went around calling black kids a slur in school and that these allegations (including the go-fund me) are fake. Obviously should wait for the full story to get out, but its a off-putting turn of events considering that yesterday the UFC was trying to promote their support of this kid as their major feel good corporate effort.

Seems like the account was fake ( USA today, another source). There are seperate allegations of racism for the family, but Schilling was apparently duped on this at least. No news on the perpetrator but all evidence points to Hisaki Kato.

LOLOLOL
The lesson we all learn here is that if someone is exploiting their kid for personal gain via the internet just don't engage. This was a dumb story and I had to see all of these fight industry people I know via Facebook start acting all tough and talk about how IF SOMEONE BULLIES YOU, YOU PUNCH HIM IN THE FACE.
Great job, glad all of these "martial arts" people took absolutely zero away from their martial arts training outside of the punches, kicks, knees, elbows and chokes.
ALSO...
Apparently Tyrone Spong contacted GLORY about wanting to fight Badr?
Grain of salt here.

Oh you haven't heard of "CAT" Hamamoto? A mid mid level REBELS guy. 13-6-4. His only notable accomplishments are a WPMF belt (which he won just 2 weeks ago so its only gonna be a month or so between fights for him), a fight in lethwei and once going up against the only guy to defeat Takeru and losing. Perhaps the most underwhelming fight I can imagine. Its Tenshin's fucking day job to beat up REBELS guys. KNOCK OUT is trying to decide between Ogasawara and Ebata (who are the top contenders outside of K-1 and have been slaying it by beating other legit opposition for a chance at Tenshin) but RIZIN comes in with this rando? RIZIN is supposed to be about cross-org boundaries. This was perfect for Ozawa. Anyways... FUCK THAT, RUKIYA VS GONNAPAR MOFOS Look how happy Rukiya is! Both of them are coming off of epic wins in Krush.

So much new stuff to react to, so little time:
- I will probably always have mixed feelings about Joe Schilling, but good on him calling out BS on the Keaton Jones situation. Even if in his particular case it involved a fake account, there appear to be a lot of indicators that the actual family consists of a bunch of biggots that have used their kid and a fake sob story for personal gain. Shame on them for taking advantage of good people's sympathies. It's a shame. With relatives like that the kid is likely to turn into a POS as well.
- Spong contacting Glory to fight Badr - True or not, Spong's career feels like it's going nowhere. First it looked like he wanted to get into the UFC. Somehow Saki who took a 3 year break and still beat him to that. Now he's a boxer, but it took him three years to fight 10 cans. I realize his leg had to heal, but at this point he should be more active, no? Fading from the biggest prospect in kickboxing to obscurity by barely doing anything in his prime years is such a shame.
- Joshua vs. Badr - probably never gonna happen, but I'm more interested in seeing that one than McGregor against any boxer. Joshua doesn't know Hoost and Remy either, which is a travesty. Not that he doesn't know kickboxers, but that Badr is better known than (probably) any other kickboxer.
- Loving the whole K-1/Krush developments.
