Finished the story of Yakuza 7 / Yakuza: Like A Dragon earlier today.
What a fantastic entry to the series. I'm 68+ hours into it and haven't even finished half the side stuff.

Virtua Fighter 5 remade in RGG Studio’s Dragon Engine, hitting PlayStation on June 1st.
The game will be released as Virtua Fighter x eSports in Asia.
While not quite Virtua Fighter 6, this may be a first step in that direction if successful.

Online gaming on mainstream consoles 3 decades ago. Japan was so far ahead of the curve.
I remember a friend playing Mortal Kombat online on a PS2 in the early 2000s and we were like 'whoa.. future tripping!' lol

Some updates regarding what I've been playing recently.
First off the big one; I've finally played Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Took me a couple of weeks to finish, mainly focusing on the story without much side activites. I expected it to be good, but it definitely exceeded my expectations. Looking forward to the sequel.
Furthermore, I played Darkside Detective 2, which is a point and click adventure with retro style graphics. Really liked the first one and this one was more of the same. Good stuff.
I've also dabbled with Pac-Man 99, Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown and Game Builder Garage.

Played Horizon Chase Turbo for the first time just now and it's awesome.
It's a modern take on classic racing games like OutRun from Sega.
It has 3D graphics, but mimics the aesthetics, gameplay and sense of speed that the classics had.
I played it on PC, but it should be available (and cheap) on every platform.

Just finished Thimbleweed Park, a great retro style Point & Click adventure that came out in 2017.
Took me 30+ hours to finish, but due to the nature of those games half of that play time was just me being stuck lol.
Especially with these types of games I pride myself in finishing them without any help.
I managed to reach the credits with 4 out of the 5 possible 'main endings' and just when I was starting to Google if I missed the 5th ending due to a glitch or something I got a clue from the results page that told me all I needed to know to go back and get that last ending. So I guess I got a tiny bit of help at the end for bonus credits. But I don't mind as much since I got to the initial credits without help.

Played a ton of games over the past month; Delores - A Thimbleweed Park Mini-Adventure, Ghost of Tsushima - Director's Cut, Twelve Minutes, Beyond a Steel Sky, WarioWare: Get it Together and Stories Untold.
Finished all of them and can pretty much recommend all of them as well.
