Yeah, when this was announced I had grand visions of an even grander draw (ala the one they had and never repeated for GLORY.3, must of cost a bit) for this tourney but as you wrote it's 2 weeks left and only 1 officially confirmed QF. The fighters must know by now, surely.
Imagine the VTR's (I feel a bit odd writing VTR in relation to GLORY, almost like I'm committing a crime as VTR is 'proper' K-1) for the tournament if it was planned in advance.
Could their be other reasons afoot for this lack of announcements, like GLORY having trouble getting certain fighters to commit to their place in the draw? If so, if in doubt.....RANDOM DRAW!

Also, I didn't know this but it's a few days old now, Miguel Torres is indeed out of the FW Contender Tourney, replaced by GLORY.8 FW Grand Slam competitor, Marcus Vinicius.

Of course, that is if what is stated above is accurate.

Wiki have this bracket:
Levin-TBA Schilling-Marcus Manhoef-Verlinden Barrett-TBA
I'm guessing Perreira gets Artem and Barrett gets Stoica. In my perfect world, this would set-up a Manhoef-Levin/Marcus (I dont mind which) Final.

Straight from Walshie: www.liverkick.com/index.php/item/2965-melvin-manhoef-vs-filip-verlinden-announced-for-glory-last-man-standingY'know, when this tourney was announced I stacked up all the names in order of excitement and anticipation that I wanted Melvin to face in the opening round ('cos he'll probably either get eliminated at the quarter finals or win his QF and pull out injured before the semi) and guess who was bottom of the pile.....yup, Mr.Verlinden. Grrrrr. Imagine a fresh, 100% Manhoef vs Levin, Marcus, Barrett or even Schilling.

RE Badr's comments on reputed overtures from GLORY: Is this BS from BH or desperation on the part of GSI?

I know that they've jumped the gun before with this, but just look at how far ahead TFN have got GLORY events pencilled into their schedule? fightnetwork.com/events/kickboxing/NYC 2 days after Xmas? London event has vanished entirely. They allegedly had the massive O2 Arena in their sights this year for July. Slovenia???

I'm reasonably sure that I got that number from the old board.
It may have been in $ but I'm pretty sure it was 500k.

Thanks for that.
Badr stands to make 80+k per fight if he wins the tournament next week.
That's also quite a drop in numbers from this time last year. 500k for Zamedov II in May 2013 and probably the same for Ignashov III in November.

If Badr wins this tournament he will be making less for fighting 2 fights on the same night than he would for one of his appearances at LEGEND.
Anyone know what he was down to paid for the aborted Londt fight?

I wonder if our man in the field, Walshie, has heard anything about this?

I wonder if Kim gave Buakaw some kind of under the table cash payment, in exchange for being photographed wearing those glasses.
