Pat Barry should really think about hanging 'em up. He's been beaten badly on too many occasions. Mwekassa may very well have to cut down to LHW to be effective at GLORY's top level (that's if he's planning on sticking around). He may not want to as as a boxer he's a natural cruiserweight. All comes to the cash, I guess.

If CroCop-Sergei gets rubber stamped then this fight finally gets made at (at least) the third attempt and more than a decade after it was originally pursued.

Artem, you swine, making us sweat like that.
Fascinating tournament on paper with loads of interesting permutations.
Will they do a live draw on their website for the quarter finals or are they looking to 'in-house' it?
I know it's purely BS, but just imagine if the 4th guy in the HW tournament, after Rico, Ghita and the GLORY.16 tournament winner, was the big SS. Certainly livens up the bracket.

Hawaii 2008?
That was the beautiful clusterfuck where Leko came off the canvas to beat an ex con, Hari got buzzed by Ostelic at exactly the same time he KO'd him, Saki won a tournament by beating Randy Kim in the final and the event poster advertised virtually every big name K-1 fighter on it with only a fraction of them appearing, right?
Was there any way K-1 or Akebono (co-promotion) would have unearthed the money to put a Hoost-Hari fight on? From what I understood at the time, Akebono was bathing in red ink at the end of that show and that was without Hoost fighting on the show and he wouldn't have been cheap either.
I remember Hoost telling Schiavello circa 2009 that there were rumours that K-1 wanted a Hoost-Hari fight.

Something about this, cant put my finger on it, seems a little fishy to me.

Am I the only one who has never been impressed with Verlinden at all and wonder why they keep trying to push him as a big talent? I hear ya, Walshie. Filip is solid but very unspectacular, to me anyway. You always get a solid showing from him but never anything that makes you want to go back and watch one of his fights again. I really hope the 8th guy is Levin. Like, really hope.

The Spike TV version still hasn't appeared in the usual places, just the BT Sport, Dutch and Russian versions. All the US cappers seemed to concentrate on Saturday's other fighting events.

Started off well, levelled off near the end though.
Enjoyed Sittichai-Khamal, Mootje looked good considering the 2 year layoff.
Can't wait for next week. GLORY.15 and Bradley-Pacquiao II.

CHAMP-E-ON X 8!
Murthel took no prisoners in there. Scissor knee was vicious.

Very intense and hardfought final round. With all the fights and years on the clock, Andy looks like 3 rounds is a struggle for him nowadays. That being said, he's won here tonight, I reckon. And pretty well, all things considered.

Souwer still pouring forwards but he gets both ragged and pop leaves his strikes pretty quickly. Bessmertny is having his moments but I thought was outworked in that round.

Souwer controls the opening round. Both of these guys are slow startes, so could liven up.

Their main events are a bit underwhelming. This card could do with a Manhoef or Hari in an interesting looking fight. Easy for me to say, sitting here, I know.
