SO. EPIC.
Tyson did a proper number on him. I think Wlad genuinely forgot what an actual competitive fight was like and just totally froze.

I'm just gonna leave this here.. I don't get what's going on with this video... I've seen it posted around a few sites as a "Rizin intro leak" but it's just the title sequence to the weekly Rizin show on Fuji TV. It even says the name of the show "FUJIYAMA FIGHT CLUB" at the end.

Such a good event.
Takeru-Bongiovanni was crazy. After the first round of the Urabe brothers fight I thought it was gonna be as tame as last time, but fuck me that fight was incredible. And Kaew... scary good.

It looked nasty after the fight, but I remember reading somewhere he's out for a month. Just enough time to get back in the gym and dust off the old Gong & Dash.

So it's official, TK's opponent is gonna be James Thompson, which has got me all pumped up like... Also TK-Fedor proves to be another baseless rumour, reported by the American MMA media as fact, to be utter bollocks. Can only imagine what would happen to their press credentials if they went around reporting on the UFC like that.

Can't wait!
Also, just realised from watching the press conference that the whole event is gonna be broadcast live in Thailand on channel Mono 29.

Absolutely. Fucking loved the main event.
It's been really hard to stomach the Rousey hype mobile of late. The beyond absurd hyperbole from Rogan, the creepy looks from uncle Dana, Goldberg's inevitable mentions of Rhonda's numerous media appearances every 30 seconds, it's all just a bit too much.
Also it was a beautiful performance from Holm. I went back and watched the whole fight again as soon as it ended.

Thats from some sherdogger. The few japanese items out there don't translate for shit but yeah those names are mentioned. I can't see a part that actually says K-1 matches at Rizin but not much else it could be I guess. Yep, that's really all they announced on the programme. They gave the most air time to Kimura, a fair bit to HIROYA and Takeru, and also showed the Urabe brothers and Kaew. Seeing as everyone mentioned except HIROYA is fighting on this months K-1 card, doesn't look like any fights will be announced 'til after then. Oh and yeah, they did specifically say K-1 matches will be part of RIZIN.

Worst case, they are doing something at the fan event they have. Would expect something more since Fedor has been at their event(s) already and will be at the next one too. Funny to me they played UFC in the media with the whole "Fedor negotiating with UFC" thing while it seems to me it's pretty clear they already knew he was going to fight in Japan instead. From what I've read, Fedor's relationship with K-1 Japan seems quite interesting. Earlier this year the K-1 main headquarters gym opened in gym called the Gen Sports Plaza. In the same building they also run the Gen Sports Academy, the head of which is Jo Uehara, the chairman of ZST. Uehara has ties to Fedor going back through RINGS, and it seems through this connection Fedor now has an affiliation with K-1.

I was gonna stay up to watch it but thought better of it. Sounds like exciting news though. I just hope they announce something concrete, so far Fujiyama Fight Club's been a bit light on content.

I've got serious doubts about Fedor vs. TK being true. I mean, while they were building up hype saying they were gonna announce Fedor's opponent in this many days etc, they made a separate announcement about TK coming back. If Rizin were gonna hype it up you'd imagine they'd announce TK out of the blue. Plus, the hardcore's love TK but I really don't think your average viewer would be any more interested in him fighting Fedor than Singh. Saying that, Rizin are clearly a bit all over the place so who knows. EDIT: Just had a quick search and saw the following. I literally have to hold back from vomiting all over my keyboard as I type this but, here's a quote from Jerry Millen...
