Chris Chritie has tested positive too.
Ahahahahahahahahahahaha
What a fucking comedy.
Hahahahahahahahahahahaha
It's so fitting that the nomination ceremony for a right-wing Catholic nutcase judge turns out to be a super-spreading event. SARS-CoV-2 has a sense of humor, I'm telling you.

Sean Conley talked in the language of a lying doctor.
Trump has been seriously ill, hasn't he.
Doesn't seem good at all.

Not many people seem to understand that Donald Trump granted Jared Kushner/Ivanka a SUBSTANTIAL chunk of the power of the White House, officially or unofficially.
Jared fucking Kushner, people. I know that moron.
Whenever there's a fuck-up in and around the White House, just blindly assume that Kushner is involved.

"likewise incredible institutions"
It sure sounds like something Donald wrote, right...
Dan, is that you? It must be you, right? Thanks for blocking me.

The "72 hours" timeline by the doctor clearly contradicts the official timeline of events since Trump has tested positive.
Under these circumstances, where it has been decidedly proven that you can't trust a word of what the Trump campaign says, Kamala Harris shouldn't do a live VP debate with Mike Pence. You must assume that when Pence says he tested negative, he actually tested positive.
I mean, Pence probably did test negative, but you know what I mean. There isn't an iota of trust left, and everyone should act accordingly.

Crying wolf. This administration has lied so much over the last four years that their disinformation campaign cannot have the desired effect when they really, really need it the most. Ironic, isn't it?
Whatever Kushner is trying to do, whatever Meadows is trying to do, it's just a fucking mess that makes no sense to anyone, and thus is not going to help their boss AT ALL.

Nearly half of my close relatives are medical doctors. I know doctors never play this fast and loose with time when they talk about their patients.

All this song and dance about an irresponsible giant loser who has zero chances of getting reelected to begin with. What a waste of energy and resources in the middle of a pandemic.

Another "mild symptoms" man.
"checked myself into"
"precautionary measure"
A hospital isn't a fucking luxury hotel, balloon man.

Given the treatment for Trump that has been disclosed so far, and the low blood oxygen level, were he a regular citizen he would be really flirting with death now.

It's really unfortunate that Spain's data are so unreliable despite the fact that the country is the leading indicator of what the "second wave" in Western Europe will look like.
Their data sort of suggest that the time lag between cases and deaths is even longer than four weeks, but we can't be sure. The number of new cases has been coming down for a few weeks, and it seems that more than 3,000 people have died of Covid-19 there in this "wave" so far, but that's about all we can tell. The daily data are so jumpy that we can't even guess the curve.
It's pretty clear that Italy seriously undercounted Covid-19 deaths back in spring (Who, other than Belgium, didn't?), but the Italian numbers were at least consistent and timely. They were far more reliable as indicators.
With that being said, I do suspect that Spain has had this "second wave" actually *easy* compared to some others. I fear France will be worse even though their deaths figure has been pretty low so far. And at this rate Belgium will lose even more people in the coming weeks and months.
In Italy, well, this is a horrible thing to say, but in the former hotspot regions, the most vulnerable people have already passed away. The biggest concern should be over the regions that weren't hit hard in spring. We'll just have to see.

What I've learned as I studied Covid-19 for these months is that the way I had it wasn't exactly the most typical one. I started feeling funny on the day after I got here, like slightly high fever-ish, and boom, I felt sick all of a sudden. I started coughing, high fever, some aches, and then lost the smell/taste etc. They all came in one package, and some of the symptoms persisted for three to four days. And then they just faded away, rather quickly.
In other words, it did feel like a flu. And since I had a nasty, nasty flu a few years ago that persisted for 9 days, it really felt like a comparatively light one.
But it seems that it's much more random for many people. You feel sick, then feel better on the next day. And two days later you wake up and, BOOM, you're dying. Symptoms come and go, and then come back, and you don't know what's in store for you next.
It's extremely difficult to tell when you are truly out of the woods even regardless of what the PCR tests say.
