Was only able to watch the fight in bursts with no sound, and while I didn't think Taiga did badly I can't properly comment on the decision, but man he's really on an unfortunate run since Stauros blew him away. Just consistently not quite doing enough, it's rough.

Dunno what's even next for Taiga. He took this fight on a low key basis but it was still pretty embarrassing. He can't fight 70% of the division since K-1 and the Tenshin fight is gone what with the weight and tournament commitments. Can't imagine his motivation is high
Also friendly reminder that Hiroya continues to say Taiga would have K-1 champ instead of Takeru if he'd stayed. Nice of you to believe in your bro, but comeon. Taiga dodged getting Threepeated
He asked to fight Saeksan in the Rise tournament. Yeah good luck with that buddy.

RISE held another press conference today announcing some matches. Curiously they still say Rodtang is participating and have announced a fight with Fred Cordeiro. I hope that they figured it all out.

Back in those days, Kiria was a wash out who was done for and we watched his fights on grainy VHS tapes with Chinese commercials still on them. RISE apparently admitted Rodtang's participation wasn't finalized yet. Also Umeno is in RISE now, very unexpected. REBELS had been trying to put together a Lumpinee title shot for him, but apparently he turned coat. Don't expect him to fare well under elbow-less rules though |

This allows for better grip, harder punches, etc. He claimed it was his trainer, but then no, but then... His trainer got banned from GLORY, so he then said he wouldn't fight without him. So he hasn't fought for fucking years over this and nobody has touched him. So, instead of just taking a punishment, he literally pissed away the prime of his career. |

Well, as much as I loved watching him fight, glove tampering is one of those "stay gone" things. I hope Kunlun are on the ball checking his shit.
