I was happy for Hirotaka; the referee took a point from him I believe in round 3 for punches to the back of the head, but I think was a little bit excessive of a punishment. Both fighters received low blows, and the fights in general were a little bit too much scrappy.
Petch was moving really fluid though. didn't look like your typical Thai guy.

Good old Asahisa. Most underappreciated Jkick fighter save maybe Noiri. Also he beat Saikyo in that 57.5kg tournament
Watch K-1 shaft him again and give Ashizawa or Ozawa a title shot before him. They've already cursed his brother by making him fight Leona Pettas

Thanks to Krest's new monopoly on all great K-1 talent. I bring you Noiri vs Takeru

Is it true he hasn't been able to spar for a year? As weird as the internal redistribution of pro fighters was, going to Krest must be like being rescued from a desert.

In another China kb birthday, Kunlun is 5 years old today.
They had seemed to maybe want to run a show today/tomorrow and would've also been their 100th event or so. Sadly didn't happen.

Didn't seem worth starting a new thread but I wanted to ask if anyone has any other suggestions for events to sniff out. We're taking a family vacation to Japan around July/August and if the timing works out I'd like to take in a kickboxing show. K-1/Krush/Khaos schedules are easy to find on the K-1 site, Knock Out only has one event scheduled so far this year on their site, RISE only have events planned up until March. I know it's traditional for schedules to not really get announced until around March for whatever reason, but are there any other organisations I can keep an eye on?

Yodwicha...Banchamek? Fighting in Kunlun this year it seems. No idea about Marat's contract situation but his people were asking for Ristie fight on fb a while ago. Just a friendly meeting with Kunlun boss? Weird time with Kunlun now. Some people saying they're near bankrupt, but then Ristie, now Yodwicha and looking like at least planning ongoing things... Supposedly next card announcement tomorrow :/

Wonder if they're squeezing out another funding round?
