About time this rematch happened.
I don't like that Ben Saddik isn't getting a shot against either guy first, but at least he should be next in line.

That's a long way away, but hopefully it turns out to be another great European card

Wonder how the contract situation with Rico is now. Hoping for a strong undercard to support this one

LOL... not a title fight though it's a 5 round fight? Than he should be stripped of the title right away. What kind of nonsense is this?

yeah never understood why some fights are announced so early. Hype doesn't take off so much when you know you have to wait almost half a year. And just imagine if the fight ends up being disappointing, like the first fight... or worse, it doesn't happen at all.

Looks like they're holding a press event for the fight this week.
Between this and K-1 Japan in November we should have a strong season ending.

Some shade has been thrown by Ernesto Hoost and Peter Aerts in recent interviews: Both Aerts and Hoost commented that Rico is the champ during a weak era in the heavyweight division and that his rematch with Badr is overhyped. In turn, Rico stated in a reaction that he's confident he would have been a top dog during the golden era as well. He also thinks that on a general level current athletes are at a higher level today. www.telegraaf.nl/sport/1821567728/verhoeven-pareert-kritiek-van-legendes
