Jamal looks better than ever:
I really believe he will blast Rico now that he is healthy.

The funny thing is, I don't think we are ever going to get Badr vs Rico for a title fight with a legit ending. I think Rico losses to Jamal, then Badr fights jamal and losses to jamal as well. But I still believe that glory is going to make Badr vs Rico for a contender fight or something like that in the future.

Bulaid moving to MMA as well. I hope he does well, but it sucks for kickboxing fans.

Did Tenshin end up fighting Koji? Oh shit, completely missed it! Thanks for the reminder. Edit: Just watched it. Was an exciting fight! I don't think many picked Koji to win here, but I think he looked good in defeat and landed surprisingly good counters on Tenshin. Tenshin looked good, but he was definitely challenged here. Though perhaps not as much as by Suakim or Rodtang. Different fighting styles though. I think this fight made it clear Koji is a cut above most other fighters that have been embarassed by Tenshin. Based on this I still find it impossible to say who has the edge between Takeru and Tenshin, though Koji did better against Tenshin I think.

Think Bulaid signed with Bellator well over a year ago, still fought in the Wu Lin Feng tournament after that but otherwise been full steam into MMA. Just corona slowed things down.
Not by their choice obviously, but if they have been able to train, I suppose the extra time to train could end up being quite good for fighters like Bulaid and also RvR who is fighting on Bellator in a few days.

I guess.
It's not that I can't appreciate fighters taking a chance crossing over to another sport. It's cool if it's some sort of personal goal/dream/challenge.
With Bulaid and RVR though, they obviously saw opportunities in kickboxing drying up.

If I recall correctly Takeru and Koji had a wild fight where Takeru was winning 3/4 exchanges but still getting tagged with bombs. Koji is the best measuring stick we have to compare them now and based on this I believe Tenshin is the better fighter and would clearly win at this weight(58.5kg). If they do fight eventually it should be at 60kg where I would still favor Tenshin but not by as much.

I don't know. I still find it difficult to gauge how their fight would play out with only one common opponent. So many parameters to consider.
At the same time, I also still think Koji did better against Tenshin. Sure he was able to brawl with Takeru for a bit, but in that type of fight it's a given that you're going to land some big stuff even when you're on the receiving end. Nothing he landed fazed Takeru whereas Koji himself got counted at least once and was really getting the snot beaten out of him by Takeru in the final round.
Koji vs. Tenshin was a different type of fight with Koji mostly on the backpedal looking for counters, while Tenshin was headhunting and trying avoid counters. Koji was still able to land some surprisingly good stuff on Tenshin. Who knows what would have happened if this had turned into an all out brawl.
Either way, Tenshin vs. Takeru has to happen at some point. It would be such a waste not to make that fight.

RvR got corona, fight off. Dude keeps hitting walls on his quest of actually having a fight in Bellator.
