Hesdy made quick work of Bouchaibi, finishing him in Round 1 with low kicks. Didn't even take many. Hesdy looked focused and in good shape. Maybe he can make a title run. Good stuff!
Edit: Apparently Bouchaibi was a replacement for Levi Rigters (who recently signed with Glory).
That would've been a cool fight to see.

Live stream stopped during Endy Semeleer vs. Nordin van Roosmalen which was a fun bout while the stream lasted, but I was really mainly watching for the Hesdy fight anyway.

Hesdy still has the best low kicks in kickboxing. He is the hoost of this generation in terms of low kicks. Combine Hesdy low kicks, with Ghita middle kicks and Malden Brestovac high kicks and you have the perfect kicker.

Badr was one of the guests at a Dutch late night show on Tuesday.
Most notable bullet points:
- He'll start studying Adegbuyi's fights more closely starting next week, but already thinks his major weakness is his inability to take a shot. - "You can train all you want, but there are certain tendencies in the way you move and fight you're not getting rid of." - "I'll definitely put him in his place hard". - In the program it was mentioned that there will indeed be a tournament in December or January that will include Rico, Jamal and Badr. - Glory 76 will (only?) be available on Glory's website.
Some personal notes: - Not sure how trustworthy the tournament line-up is at this moment, but it's an update at least. - From what I've read here and there the Glory 76 PPV will be priced €12,95 which is ~15 USD. Despite being a good card, I'm still having doubts about the PPV system working in the European market. Just speaking from personal experience, but I've NEVER paid for a PPV stream, EVER. In that sense Europeans may be a bit spoiled, I guess. - I've seen some pictures of Adegbuyi on Facebook the other day and he looks to be in the best shape ever. It's cool for him to have this sort of prestige fight. Sure he's fought Rico before, but Rico will never have the same status Badr has due to being the champ during a weak era, if that makes sense..? - Glory's website has started putting out news articles in both English and Dutch. More focus on the Dutch market from here on out?

More focus on the Dutch market from here on out? Wait, is he saying that he will possibly fight 4 times in a month? He changed his mind so much, I remember him saying a few years ago in some interviews that he doesn't like at all tournaments due to injuries and he will never fight in them again. Personally, I don't think the HW has enough talent for an 8 man final. So the possible injuries that could fuck up the matchups are not worth it.

Just going off Glory's own HW roster:
- Adegbuyi - Badr - Rico - Ben Saddik - Wilnis - Marshall - Plazibat - Mahieddine
Perhaps not prime K-1 Final 8 level, but looks like a pretty strong lineup to me.
Throw Rigters and Catinas in the reserve fight and they'd be good to go.
Having said that, Badr said they were still in talks about the details so who knows how the card will look once it's made official.
Also, I've read mentions of both an 8-man and a 4-man tournament. So we're not even clear on that front.
But seeing how we're already getting Badr/Adegbuyi, Plazibat/Mahiedinne and Rigters/Wilnis at Glory 76, I can't imagine Glory 77 having all the same fighters in a tournament where we might end up with the same matchups we just saw a month or two earlier.

Well that sucks.
The way events are starting to pick up again I expect more last-minute fight cancellations like that in the near future, though.

KOK had some and supposedly were trying to scramble together some bookings in the last few days. Not entirely sure how much of a restriction on the size of the audience they have for the Estonian event, but probably couldn't count on being allowed to sell a ton of tickets so still kind of a cheaper card too.
