I guess Pereira going back to MMA or actually making a full transition would be bigger news if he wasn't already 33. It shouldn't be easy to make such a phenomenal transition like Izzy did at that age.

Yeah, it was announced a while ago and there's a short interview with him on Glory's website.
He's training in Holland now. Here's hoping the long lay off didn't hurt him too much.

Bellator released Joe Schilling. Even though I'm not his biggest fan I feel like at this point of his career K-1 should scoop him up for their cruiserweight division. It'll be a good addition to make the roster a bit more international and they could do a third fight with Kato Hisaki.

K-1 doesn't seem to pay a whole lot for their foreign talents, doubt we'd see Schilling there. Think it might be like bare knuckle boxing for him. Don't think ONE does much/any kb around his weight, so that doesn't seem much like an option either unlike for a bunch of other kickfighters.

K-1 doesn't seem to pay a whole lot for their foreign talents. Not to be an ass, but it's not like Schilling is worth a whole lot which is one of the reasons I suggested it lol. But yeah, bare knuckle stuff is not an unlikely option for him. Maybe Joe can go to that UFC feeder league, I think its called LFA. If he ends up there he can get murdered by Pereira who signed with them last week.

That show was about as bare bones as it gets. Hope they keep doing these Sarajevo shows, always like seeing events from more "unusual" locations.
