Watched just a couple fights, a basic gym event. Event added to my to-watch list that I'll never get to

Not looked into the EM card at all, but Wu Lin Feng at least seemed like a good card. Definitely watching Fair Fight too, Sher Mamazulunov vs Dmitry Valent should be good.

Remy Bonjasky did an interview with the Dutch "Vechtersbazen". Some key comments he made: "UFC is completely taking over in terms of popularity. Just look at all the kickboxers now flirting with MMA. I'd hate for kickboxing to collapse." "I'm afraid kickboxing is becoming the new karate." What do you guys think?

Earlier today: Kickboxing ResultsMarat Grigorian def. Ivan Kondratev by knockout (liver punch). Round 2, 1:52 Murat Aygün def. Anderson “Braddock” Silva by unanimous decision Andy Souwer def. Zhang Chunyu by unanimous decision combatpress.com/2020/12/one-championship-big-bang-results/All good fights, though I'm not sure how Aygün won that fight: He (arguably) won rounds one and three 10-9, but he lost round two 10-8 by being knocked down by Silva. If he had been dominating the rest of that second round I could understand there only being a one point difference, but that wasn't really the case. It should've been a draw/extra round. I think Aygün was initially supposed to fight Kryklia. Also Kondratev actually knocked down Grigorian at the end of the first round. The fight could have easily gone south for Marat if the knockdown happened earlier in the round.

One of the commentators said that it cannot be a draw because the rule says the judges must give a winner no matter what. Idiotic rule. Should have been a draw. Even the first round is debatable because Aygun got clipped a few times by hard shots.

Isnt Zhang Chunyu really good? Wasnt expecting that from old man Souwer. Also never heard of Ivan Kondratev but apparently he is pretty good.

Zhang has been stagnant for many years, because before he had positive results against Kulebin and Paraschiv. I think Zhang in this match was mediocre, and Souwer raised his level from the last matches a lot. Zhang has fought with big names and no progress can be seen.
