GLORY decided to move the two previously scheduled GLORY events at Haangar 2 in Katwijk aan Zee to a studio event due to continuing concerns over COVID-19. The well-being of athletes, partners and staff remains the number one priority for the organization.

LOL nice damage control. Glory didn't 'decide' anything as they didn't have a say in the matter: they didn't get a license for the Hangaar events due to being crooks.

I do like that due to the circumstances there is no crowd.
So obnoxious Badr fans aren't welcome to ruin the event.

While I still don't like 4 man tournaments, I do like the lineup, especially Plazibat vs. Mahieddine.

Arkadiusz Wrzosek has been replaced by Jahfarr Wilnis. Not sure about the reasoning, but it's definitely an upgrade and better test to see where Rigters currently stands.

GLORY has signed a new agreement with French heavyweight fighter Massinissa Hamaili.

Massinissa Hamaili will replace Jahfarr Wilnis in the GLORY 76 four-man heavyweight tournament and will face Levi Ritgers in the semi-finals.

So the replacement is replaced.

Can't say I'm very familiar with Hamaili, but he has fought in SuperKombat and at one point he was supposed to fight Uehara Makoto in K-1. I'm guessing Glory wants a slightly easier first fight for Levi Rigters. Or they want a stronger French presence in their events.

Either way this seems like a downgrade from Wilnis.

Looking at Glory's website and the card - and this may be a bit premature - I get the feeling that SuperFight Series may be a thing of the past and we only get a few undercard/prelim fights before the main card.

But sure, they can make at least the prelims available on YouTube. They've been doing that in the past.

Probably doesn't make so much sense making 2 separate products to sell if they don't really have anyone to sell them to currently. In general I hope they go forward just trying to make strong main cards instead of splitting the talent between 2 cards and have weird talent peaks essentially in the middle of the card headlining SFS.

This event is a kind of an odd one off though, people buy the ppv for Badr/Benny and/or Doumbe/Groenhart, won't sell many more ppv's adding any more fights to the event and guess no ticket sales either so more fights is just losing more money. Just a thing to get things going again, interesting to see what lasting format changes there might be in the following events.

And yea Wilnis made that tournament more interesting, but if they're doing the bigger tournament later maybe they'll just stick Wilnis straight into that along with the winner of this tournament instead of risking Wilnis losing here.

The event is postponed (again) and Plazibat is also in quarantine due to being Badr's trainingpartner.

Going by rumors I'm reading on Mixfight, the postponement is not only due to the main event being off, but also Glory apparently having trouble finding a location.

First and foremost I feel bad for Adegbuyi. Who knows what'll happen next.
